To be honest I wouldnt risk returning it as the online stock seems very unpredictable - maybe order it online first then return it? But also the codes only actually reduced mines by £5 because I had no option of delivery to store? And remember with holidays it wont be delivered until Wednesday now probably. May be worth your while just to keep the one you have?:staradmin:staradmin:staradmin:staradmin:staradmin0

you have 28 days I think to return to store so hold onto it to be sure your online one turns up0

Managd to order online earlier and been looking for bit of info about them, does anyone know if its possible to install tomtom on these? people have managed to do so on different medion gopals from what i've read.
I guess once you get to the windows OS you can do whatever you want with these too?0 -
Many have asked (including myself) on this, hotukdeals and pocket gps world, but so far no replies to this question, having never owned a sat nav, I am prepared to try the default software, but if it is possible to install TomTom and an accurate speed camera package that was inexpensive to update, this would be an even better buy.0

Having had chance to use it today I think its ok.
The display was bright enough in my car, but the volume distorts a little when on the top 2 settings. The 3rd setting was ok, not loud enough to hear over the radio, but I think it gets annoying if you hear it all the time - you only need to hear it for when you are not sure of directions or for the speed cameras which is a high pitch ping and quite audible.
My main gripe is that I like to rely on the nav to take me to the building I want to get to in unfamiliar territory. With the 205 you can enter the postcode but not the building number so you can be taken into an area in quite the wrong direction. What I mean is I entered the postcode, but the nav took me into the village at the opposite end to where I wanted to be, 2 miles away. This was ok as today I knew where I wanted to go, it would be ineffective if I didn't. Its good for localising, not for pinpoint destinations.
For £50 I think its good value as my other gps receiver on its own (not satnav, just the SIRF) was £40 - but only buy it if it suits your purposes. By all means test it out, you can always return it.
I'm undecided at this time.0 -

And sold for £70.56 plus £7.50 p+p !0 -
Have just discovered to enable a speed camera database, which is pre-loaded, you need to touch the green square in the bottom right hand corner. Its a little tricky to get so you might need a stylus. Then you need to simply touch the activate option, and then save settings.0

Grrr. All sold out near me, and on the website too.
Has anyone been able to find out if they will be getting any more?0 -

One of the users mentioned the screen is like a mirror in daylight however another user has said that by angling the screen slightly differently it stops that problem. I would imagine this is a problem all sat navs would have in bright sunlight. Depending on your type of car the A frame may hide the sunlight anyway, I think mines may.
With regards to the speaker volume, I am sure it has been tested in road use and found to be fine so may just have to open your ears a bit ;-) and for £50 I am not complaining about having to turn down my radio for a while whilst I listen to some directions
This is actually not a problem with all SatNav's, I've got one built into my BMW 740, my wife has got one built in her Nissan Murano, I've got one on my mobile phone (T-mobile SDAII with Co-pilot) and have Navigon on a PDA...The problem with this model is that they've used a reflective instead of matt TFT screen (a bit like the trend is happening with laptops). A reflective screen makes photo's look great, but is impossible to see with sunlight, or actually daylight on it other than an angle of 90 degrees...
Sure I hear people are happy for £59 which is a bargain price, but be warned...The summer season has not even started yet and yesterday was particularly shiny....One can angle all they like, but you drive constantly in different directions compared to the sun, and it is not save at all to keep on angling a device....
And again regarding sound, if you are an occasional user it might be ok to turn off your radio...Speaking from someone who has been using SatNav since about 1996, it does get rather annoying!
Also I've noticed that the box has got TMC on the display whilst this model does not have TMC at all! I think this is rather false advertising or packaging....
Don't get me wrong, £59 is a bargain....And when you don't have to use it in the summer or during the day I am certain it will be great for some....But don't be fooled in thinking that all personal satnav devices suffer from these drawbacks; they do not!0
