Quoted. For the attention of Sambucus.

And I agree, they lack heart.

And as you are a complete out and out liar and troll, I'll take that as a complement. :j:j:j

However how can I be so heartless when I simply asked a question? I have made no accusations, assumptions, spoken of gender - in fact the words were:

'If you are so brilliant, how come there are any mistakes to highlight to the Directors?'

It's a genuine query as to the issues highlighted in the original post, by the original poster who it seems has now deleted their [rather embarrassing] question. I think that says volumes.

And DVS, when you can only get show-me-da-money to back you up, then surely, you are surely not only scraping the bottom of the barrel, but your fingernails must be sore with all those rotten splinters. All boys together eh? What a happy place that must be.

The whole "because she was a female" has been taken out of context. Perhaps the OP was not trying to be sexist. I nor Kiki certainly didnt think so.

Actually, I did think it came across as sexist - but I thought it came from a place of thoughtlessness rather than being malicious. Hence offering help.

This thread appears to have descended into some odd fruit-referencing quasi troll-flirting discussion, which is rather strange. :rotfl:

You'll get a sore head with all the Man Hating. Really you are one bitter individual - and I don't often say that. SMDM was good company last night - I don't always agree with him, but there are more important things than agreeing with people.

OP Have you considered asking for a one on one meeting with your boss? Sometimes there is just a personality clash or something gets said the other takes the wrong way and then it just becomes tit for tat point scoring.

Maybe you could take the higher ground and say you're really sorry if you have come across in a poor light, but you are keen to work with your boss and respect her authority?

I think your boss will be more likely to respect you if you address this directly to her and have an adult conversation about it. I know I would, in the same situation, be willing to wipe the slate clean and start again.

Although I can understand where you are coming from - and if this were a rational matter, you would be right, I think that this would make the situation 1000 times worse.

Boss feels inadequate and would probably recognise the higher ground being taken. And as this stems from feeling inadequate, she would probbaly feel here nose was being rubbed in it. This thread has already gone down the path of keys being angrily bashed because people react to what they think they read rather than to the situation. This boss is not going to do anything different IMO.

You could be right but unless OP intends to either act a bit stupid and make mistakes and take a rollocking to re establish the pecking order or quit, I fail to see what else OP can do really

Maybe take on a lesson for the next job? Being spot on is good, being better than your superior is not?

I think there is wrong on both sides here TBH
