I have just used a piece of software on the internet to tell me how long I have been alive and how long it is to my next birthday...

I thought it was wrong and said that's a stupid piece of software but then I did my own arithmetic using my fingers and the internet programme seems to be correct and I am...a year younger than I thought I was. So now I wonder if I have always had myself older than I really was. I have tried to work it out this way and that and still come up with the same answer.

Another one here who made endless Nativity costumes, I once sprayed a Matey bottle with gold paint & stuck fruit gums on it for one of the Three Wise Men to carry, 5 years later the bottle was still being used but the fruit gums had to be replaced every year as the kids picked them off & ate them!

    Good morning everyone :)

Yes, forward me the pattern that shows you how to knit a life please... I fancy a pastel calm relaxed one.

Again, I have awoken to that 'ergh' feeling. I so want to shake it! Time of year do you think? I'm sleeping enough (even early, about 9.15 I'm going up!) I'm still taking my AD's. It's getting on my nerves feeling like this.

I have no idea what we're having for tea, it's going to be a Coop job. Maybe that's it. I like organisation and know what I'm doing. This meat difficulty is really pittling me off. I can't wait till I have the funds to follow my meal plan. Veggie this, bean that, cheap sausages and gravy... if that's all I have to whige about I should be counting myself lucky huh? Gi yersel a shake woman!

    Morning Fuddle

Maybe you are sleeping too much, too much can be as bad as not enough. If I sleep more than about 7 hours I get all fuzzy...

Another insanely busy Tuesday for me, work all day then a dash across town to college until 8.30 then gym, pick up K and home for ironing while watching the recorded Great British Bake Off. It is all go today!
I promise that I will do my best.....

Another gorgeous sunny frosty morning here, we've had more sun this last week than we had all summer - pity its 5C though.
I'm revolting today, snipping roots off and actually getting out of the chair! Going to Peebles for a very short slow walk around and feed the ducks. What a great idea Ginny, I'll knit meself a life when I finish this sock. I fancy a purple & black life with sequins on
Kidcat my daughter would be ok to come with me to the docs but shes always too busy, Elder son would end up angry and shouting, and younger son wouldn't be seen dead . The RV is ok though. I'm trying to eat very OS, eat regularly ( I tend to not eat all when I feel bad), and am taking every vitamin ever invented. I'm the healthiest dying slug on the planet :D:D
Keep the faith OStylers cos no doubt things are gonny get a bit worse yet!

Morning toughies - yes, I'm still lurking.

Good vibes to all and particularly the poorly people and those struggling. I do read, laugh and cry with you all, but don't usually post because I don't know what to say to help.

A miracle is about to occur. I showed DH those solar lamps from Ikea which some lovely person linked to, and he has volunteered to take me to Ikea to get a couple. He absolutely hates Ikea so this is unheard of.

Now, what I'm wondering is, is there anything else I should be looking at on this very rare occasion? Have enough fleeces to keep entire forum warm this winter if necessary, but niggling in the back of my mind is something that I thought was a good idea at the time and have now totally forgotten.

Thanks and hope everyone has a nice(r) day today. Sun is shining here but about 5 degrees. Lovely.
  • Morning toughies, it's wet again hooray!!!!!!! A girl can never have too much rain - can she?

FUDDLE - Perhaps it's having to break in a new routine and it will take you a couple of weeks to re-tune yourself? I know I've always felt bleurgh until I have the new one off pat and then it's OK again.
Hope you are feeling brighter later on. It could also be a response to slightly different nutrition and your body needing trace elements it isn't currently getting. It will pass!!!!!

Glad you are going for a breath of duck mugging MAR, take it easy and enjoy it, don't admit to them you're a slug though, I believe they're rather partial to slugs in any state of health!!!!

Have a good one all, Cheers Lyn x.
  • JAMANDA - One of my standard purchases at Ik*a is tealights and last time I went they had lanterns reduced too always worth having extra tealights. Last time I was in they had a solar Big Lantern (lots of bright light) for about £5 might be useful. Whatever you buy enjoy the trip, Cheers Lyn x.

Thanks Mrs L. I've just remembered I want some more kilner type jars too.

Do you get the feeling he may come to regret his offer:rotfl:
