  • Born blonde, that place seems good. Towers and laptops are highly sought after on Freecycle here always requests rarely offers unfortunately so plan is to use stock to live on so I can buy either to keep me on-line while this is fixed. So can go up to £200 max

Just phoned them to ask how I prove to them I am on ESA and DLA and girl said the take my word for it. Open to abuse methinks.

Born Blonde how long did deliver take? I can not stand using this laptop much longer.

  • They quoted 10 days and it did arrive within that time. The were also great when she had technical questions and bear in mind she is 85!

Fuddle may be TMI but Lactulose is much more - how shall I put it - *gentle*. Get yourself a bottle.

OK I know Mum ended up with something different but Lactulose was prescribed by our Dr and is all what Possession and others have said...but it is available over the counter. Well I say that...when I bought it rather than getting it free I had to ask for it and they usually get from the area the Pharmasist works from...

And yes keep the liquid intake up too...

  • Thanks right as soon as can get money on cc will order one, can get the pc for £100 a bit awkward to use on over bed table but better I think as spare than another laptop. Will pay for the extended cover as well.

Means will not have to use as much of our food stores which is great, as usually whenever I get a decent store cupboard I have to use it. Son other day said my stocks at last looked like a real storecupboard, but he knew in past I had never been able to get it this far.

DH had a look at the laptop specs and wasn't impressed so we won't bother. Good job he knows what he's talking about.

I've made paper bricks this morning, well, three bricks - they take a lot of paper. Got them drying in the sun (although it's getting cloudier by the second)

Did the trip to primarni for new pjs this morning. Both DDs have two pairs of fleecy ones each and some new slipper boots and fluffy socks. DH got some thermal long sleeved tops and I got a lovely pair of fleecy loungy jimjams from Mr A. I don't wear pjs to bed, I get far to warm, so these loungy ones will be a good alternative to my onsie.

Going to make chutney this afternoon, have enough jars now. Popped to Wilkos for some more demijohn bungs so will get the elderberries I picked yesterday, going with some blackberries and raspberries that were YS, all the other demijohns are now in use so needed to ensure I've somewhere to put this new batch when it's ready.

I've got to wait two weeks for my Primark PJ shop (I always get excited when it's family new PJ buying time, I have no idea why!) but Dh is taking e to Tesco later to pick up mine and the girls' onesie's. I don't sleep in PJ's either but love nothing more than lounging around in the them all snug and warm in the autumn/winter.

That reminds me, must wash the Ikea Irma fleeces as I use them on the girl's beds for sheets when it's cold.

I have cold hands today. I'm on top of my housework so haven't done much and my body is chilled. The trick really is to keep moving.

I can't win either... feel lost and overwhelmed when I've a lot of housework, feel bored and underwhelmed when I've nothing to do. I can't believe I'm actually looking for jobs to get stuck into. 6 hours by myself is too long - I think I'm nuts for saying that too.

I sowed spring cabbage and turnips about 6 weeks ago and I still don't see any growth or anything. Do you think I've failed already?
