Dont worry Ds would see them off - he has dismantled all by rolls of wrapping paper to get the inners out - apparently, one is a telescope for spotting pirates and space ships, another is sword for fighting the pirates and space aliens and the third is a walking stick in case he hurts his foot again fighting said aliens and pirates.

Am quite sure that any incoming zombies would run a mile at the sight of the said pirates and space aliens!! :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

With that in mind does anybody have any super cool suggestions for storing wrapping paper when its been taken off its lovely roll?

ome aboard HOMERDOG and ROSIE PUDDING PAWS come and join the party it's always lovely to meet new friends.

FUDDLE - just love the heat shaped crumpets so pretty, almost too good to eat - you were asking about nettles yesterday and if they would freeze. I think the advice is only to forage for them in the spring as the leaves get a bit coarse and stringy at this time of year and are not nice to eat at all. The bit you do harvest is the top four littlest leaves from the growing tip of the plant, if you have a stand of nettles near you in a clean unpolluted place you might just, at this time of year, get away with hacking them down with a stick and promoting a bit of new growth which would be succulent and usable. I think all you do is cook them like you would spinach - easy eh?

My french beans are unbelievable this year, now it has warmed up a bit, they are like triffids in the polytunnel and I am getting a bit surly about the whole bean thing as the runners have decided to join in too - I find that a girl can have too many beans!!!!!!!

I am really sorry about the whole storm in a teacup that blew up yesterday and feel like one of the stormclouds that should have known better. If anyone was/is upset please have a heartfelt appology , I got too involved and intense and I'm sorry for any distress caused to any of you. Cheers Lyn x.

MrsL, don't fret, there's nothing for you to apologise for and the whole thing isn't worth bothering with, I'm so glad you're still posting :)
... don't throw the string away. You always need string! :D

No need for an appology mrsL, not in my opinion anyway, and I'm sure my opinion is right :rotfl:. Joking....honest!!

Personally, I'd just prefer to keep that thread on that thread, and this thread free of it. I might have been too subtle earlier, but Fuddle has said it all, and appears to be understood.

I generally enjoy reading this thread, and want to continue to do so, as I'm sure we all do :A.

Kidcat...so glad you have your DS to save you. I was so worried for a while there :rotfl:

Fuddle - I too loved your crumpets...oo er, missus :rotfl:

Keep up the good work of supporting each other everyone.

eeek I have to add that the pic wasn't of my crumpets... I haven't made mine yet. It was a pic off google but I will be trying it out tomorrow. I just didn't want people giving me credit for those beauties as mine will no doubt be shapeless, flat and burned :rotfl:
