    Thanks Lisa,
That thought crossed my mind about Mum:rotfl::p;)

well done on al that you have done today...I have spent best part of today messing around sorting out the utility fiasco...I bought a couple of tins of Corned Beef for my food store and some cheese slices for the fridge...I said that I would start cutting back a little...

I have a hot water bottle and some hand warmers that you squeeze and they warm up for about 40 mins and you can put them in your pockets to keep hands warm yet to try them...Have one of those bags in a kind of scarf that you can warm in microwave...

Do you take the bag out of the fabric when heating it and put it back in the cover or put it all in into the microwave as it is?

It doesn't explain on the instructions...these will be a bit like the warmers Fuddle made...

hmmm, I suppose it would depend on what the fabric was. I would probably take it out to heat it.
The girls have teddies with the bag inside that were bought for them last christmas, they have to be taken out.
I'm sure I made some a few years ago with oats inside and a drop of lavender oil.

Still, she will have a go. We don't have many hard and fast rules in our house, but 1, not allowed to say "I don't like it" unless it has been tasted, properly, several times. 2, not allowed to say "I can't" unless it's been attempted several times.

    Loving those rules! :D:D:D

Got a lamb tagine in the oven and our friend is coming round in a bit to help us eat it. I'm not a huge lamb fan unless it's totally collapsy in a stew type dish, even then I'd rather have beef, but OH loves it so I do it every so often.

Thanks I think mine has oats in it...the fabric is in tartan and is a kind of cloth. When I use it I'll take it out of its cover.

Well, as I have said I have avoided beef in years and that includes CB but now I do eat it(not a lot)but I have 4 cans of Princess(selling at £2)and some better(?)CB in the fridge(where there are only a few slices)I may have to make some CB hash...

I am thinking I should get a bit more adventurous with my sandwich making and do some like I see in Tesco's, I tend to stick to the usual salad filling.

Might have to start a thread asking for favourite fillings(also unusual combinations too)

We all venture out and read/post anywhere we see something that interests us and welcome new posters/lurkers an avoid being seen as a clique but some from that thread are now saying on other threads stay here where everyone is so nice and don't go into other areas of the board so in a way doing what they dislike and accuse others of doing...

Still cannot understand what has happened but hey ho...

    Evening all............

Well guess who I had to have out again, can you guess, nope ok will tell- the locksmith to change the lock for the 5th time in a year.

As some of you will remember we got told no new door but they instead again replaced not just barrel of lock but whole lock and new handle. Other week coming in from side garden went to open door and key turned 360 degrees over and over before it caught and door opened. When I told hubby could see he thought I had just not turned key properly.

Today after a long day out first baby sitting grandchildren from 9am till 2.30pm the some shopping put key in lock and round and round it goes, this time hubby standing right behind me so could see it happening. His key did same but then caught. So on phone the HA straight away and first they try and tell me they cannot do anything over BH and I should just stay home. They were told quite plainly this is not acceptable so eventually told locksmith would call. he arrived at 7.30pm and left at 8.30pm.

He had been told nothing was wrong with door it was just tenant trying it on to get a new door - this he told me after he tried our keys in door and round and round they went. So as he put it we were not telling porkies:rotfl: So out comes old lock ( all 3 weeks old) in goes one, it does the 360 dance, then another and another. Then he takes everything apart and says its not actually the lock what the part on the door frame where lock goes into wood is so rotten its moving and its why key does the 360 as frame moves. So he did the best he could but agreed we need a new door but told me unlikely anyone will listen to him although he will make sure they believe we were telling the truth. So lock number 9 is on door (including ones he tried and discarded) and even then key does the 360 dance from time to time on this one.

Tuesday methinks I might be having a word with my MP as enough is enough. I could just pop into front garden and be locked out.

I was tired and exhausted as for me I have done more in past few days than done in months - me going out on my own yesterday was first time I had felt up to it since I went to Christmas Market on second Saturday of December last year, I go out on my own so rarely I remember the times well.

Today at sons migraine tried to kick off and of course did not have any anti-inflam with me which sometimes stops it so got hubby to bring me some over when he got home and so he stayed till the children came home (ok so they are 28 but to me they are still children).

We then popped to shops(cheque centre is best through them its on in 30 mins, bank takes 24hrs even with faster payments and only on work days) to put more money on cc as I had spent all that was on it yesterday on Ghillie Kettle and Dutch Oven plus a few other bits - just waiting for them to arrive as wanted them for so many, many years.

Popped into B&M while there and found a Chiminea that I have wanted for at least 2 years had at long last been reduced and they only had one left .........so I am now proud owner of a cast iron Chiminea, am very happy.

The popped to Mr S. to collect prescription and got told I have to have a chat with pharmacist before I can collect them. He just wanted to run through my meds and make sure I understood about taking them. He is new and is implementing this with everyone taking Class A drugs. I was there nearly an hour, I was not in the mood for it. Only good thing was he informed me that my doctor saying taking Oxycontin or Oxynorm with strongest Codeine will not cause Serotonin Syndrome, it had been thought to but new info has found this to be wrong so I can ask her for it again for migraines.

So get my meds and go home to the fun over key.

Never got to Mr A to collect the double slanket, as should have been there today so hoping to go tomorrow or Monday, but DGD2 is 3 tomorrow so might not get there then as she told me today I must go to her party.

I am just so achy and tired so going to try and get to sleep soon.

Sorry not replying to anyone, have read everything but cannot remember who wrote what.......

    Oh yes

Kidcat I agree don't buy any school uniform and I would be blazing over what they told you over DS1, I thought education was for all not just high achievers, sound as bad as my HA only want to bother with things that show how great they are  on your behalf.

Gailey.......you are amazing how you cope, I also agree about worrying about 1 room and hall.

PAH - I would definitely contacting your MP but also local papers, it must be costing you a fortune in new keys. When we have a new lock here it always comes with two keys, I need keys for me, OH, DD and DS not to mention my dad has one and I keep a spare on my car keys for when one of the kids announces as I drop them somewhere oops I forgot my key! So I always get four new keys cut, that costs me £14 each time which isnt cheap - but that is my problem as I won my house and its usually one of my kids fault it breaks.
