Er, how do I delete one?

Actually, I will just leave 'em both up, it's more or less the same stuff, just expressed differently.

Bit of Twitter for you. A hashtag, which can be seen by anyone following that tag #IamanIdiot

Oh, whilst I'm here, perhaps someone can help me? How many posts do I need to make before I can post attachments?

I can't really get my head around twitter...I did have another foray with the Save Lennox thing, but really not my cup of tea.

I'm struggling today. REALLY struggling. Mentally and physically.

I've got to sort out my books for the B&B/tax/tax credits, that sort of stuff. Done the B&B books for last year...and discovered, that because of the tax year being April, I've only actually HAD three customers this year!!! and only two more booked to come at the end July/beg August, that is really dire... last year April to April we had 25!!!! I will have scarcely covered the insurance and advertising cost by the time they have been :( Makes you wonder if we should just give up?

I've got to get my head around more figures now. Not my greatest skill at the best of times. My house is such a tip, and it's raining again. I have so many things to do that I don't want to, and so many things I'd RATHER do...that I can't at the moment... :( That's all!

I have twitter but don't talk on it, just use it to keep an eye on things and people I like.

The thing about twitter and the hashtag is the immediate knowing of what is happening... like when I was watching the oxford V cambridge boat race on TV this year. There was a lot of kerfuffle and as a viewer I didn't get what was happening, checked twitter and found out why it was stopped straight away.

Another batch of Mrs C's 5 min bread in and it's looking much better. Pizza also in for the kids tea.

Malt loaf. The coop have soreen malt loaf on for 50p. My kids adore the stuff. If I bought a few packs at that price and froze it would it freeze/defrost ok?

DD managed very well in her performance and the yellow clothes made by moi held up well :D

Ozpig. I think I'm in awe of what she can do. Mine, when I get one, will be a she because she's obviously a trooper. I have her home plotted out, along with my bench and table being repositioned. ;) We were planning on getting a BBQ and a chimnea so this would do both. It may be cheaper... may not though as I would like a kettle and cast iron pan too ;)

Can you burn recycled paper and card on the ozpig?

We found it stuck together quite a lot, and it was hard to separate when it was frozen (like we normally do with bread, sticking the knife into the slice and twisting usually popped the slices off, but that didn't work with the soreen) maybe if it's properly defrosted it would be OK, or if you CBA to layer the slices with greasproof before freezing?

All this twitter talk makes me want to join. But I already waste so much time on facebook :o

I am sooooo cold, and yet it is 20° C in the house. But the weather is so windy and humid that it feels like November...

And here I was, hoping that I would be able to work on my PhD in our tiny garden this summer, in the sun, with a cold lemonade, with the rabbits frolicking around me :o

Ellie, you paint an idyllic scene. :) Not sure of the correct wording but what is your PhD in?

Instead she's sitting in her coat indoors with her hands wrapped around a steaming mug of cocoa...the bunnies are outside practicing bog snorkelling.

I'm a bit confused about twitter followers - there must be some option to decide whether or not to give permission for people to follow you? I don't tweet any more but still get messages saying 'xx would like to follow you' and I just ignore them. I presume people like Stephen Fry who gather thousands of followers just leave the option open for people to follow

    Rosiebin,
I think there is a button you vcan press that stops certaibn functions or instructions that can be highlighted. Either within the Twitter account or if the messages are turning up in your e-mail account that will stop you at least getting the acknowledgements/alerts and will treat them as spam?

Just seen Betony's reply...thank you...that is great help...

I have just started using Twitter so I don't know as yet...

Idyllic in my dreams :o My PhD is in representation of science in literature (so nothing exciting I'm afraid!), so I had Cath Kidstonesque dreams of lovely picnic rugs and lots and lots of books scattered elegantly around me. :o In my dreams I was also wearing this gorgeous floral dress from Asda I bought in April. :rotfl:

Almost :D I drink tea and the bunnies are indoors, making a mess of my lounge with hay everywhere!!!!! And yes, only hay. My bunnies use a litter tray :) I always feel I have to explain as I don't want people to think I let my pets poop on the floor :rotfl:
