    Chatham girl, me. :D

Tried making it once, utter disaster.

I tried to make it once, too - and mine also was a disaster.
Her parting words were have got a small mountain of Hershey Bars to bring home to the UK and in extremity could survive on them for a couple of weeks, so think I'm more scared than they are.

Definitely - I really would have to be starving to eat a Hershey bar. :D

Good job on the fireplace PAH.

Same here! I've had a disaaaaaaster though, gone to get those packs of gingerbread men from the SM and they have switched to halloween shapes. Now DD can't make Ginger Dead Men as I don't have time to make gingerbread men along with everything else. The world may end. It could be the zombie apocalypse.

Mr T had them in alongside the halloween ones last Friday.

I seen it val :D I've been following Lucy's crochet for years.

Living oop north it will take 24 hours ish to get there. The coaches have individual TV's on the head rest and games on the screen for the kiddies. It won't be easy but you have to do what you have to do. Plus we thought (because of my anxiety) it would be a better way to travel because once we get on that coach all the worry and decision making is taken away. We get driven right up to our place of staying.

DH going to the company HQ today so will have better understanding later on.

I aint phoning the tax office today, I'm too happy for that.

The bus changes that have come into place today have been great for me. I can now get the bus into the city and it goes past my door. :)

Still waiting on the wardrobe decision.

You will get all your tax back Fuddle, look on it as savings for your holiday spends...

Have great news everyone, interview last for an hour. It was us just basically nattering, the best type. Afterwards the lady said i will be ringing everyone tomorrow, but half anhour later she rang me and offered me the job. Initially its an 8 hour contract but after i have worked my notice period of 4 weeks, going to have to do both jobs together as they need me on the induction course on monday.

After the 4 weeks i can have 16 - 20 hours a week contract, perfect as its in the next village at the coop.

Had to share..... off to write my notice as im going to hand it in in a bit

    Great news nuttyp!!
PAH that's a real transformation and looks very cheerful.

DH just said "Blimey, who'd have thought I'd be in demand!"
The firm who offered the 3 month contract have just contacted him saying he'd be a really good fit and asking him to call re. a permanant role with better salary. So now he's agonising about it all over again. I'm glad he's getting offers but the agonising is rather taking its toll on me!
Oh and my poor old 26-ish yr old boiler is making alarming noises and has possibly stopped working. Great.
