MSE subscribed threads not working, help please

I'm subscribed to all threads with 'no email notification'. It means that my subscription list keeps track of all threads I've ever replied to, but I'm not annoyed by an email.

I don't have the homepage of MSE bookmarked, I have this page as my entry point. (You can get to it from Quick Links > Subscribed Threads)

I knew this thread had had a recent reply because it was at the top of my subscription list in bold. If you were to reply to a thread I posted on a year ago, I'll know about it because it will immediately go to the top of my list.

I'm still having problems. I receive some email notifications on some threads but not on others.

I have instant email notification ticked in my user cp. Any way to sort it so that I have email notifications on all subscribed threads?

The threads you are not receiving notifications for - are they ones you subscribed to when 'no email notification' or 'Do not subscribe' were ticked?

The control in the UserCP only changes the default of how it treats threads in the future, not threads you subscribed to in the past.

Go to your subscription list and tick any that have 'none' in the notification column
Then select 'instant email' from the menu at the bottom.

For threads that aren't on that list but you want emails about, go to that thread and click 'Subscribe to this thread' from Thread Tools at the top

Aah, thank you. I didnt notice the column with instant/none before. Have now subscribed to the ones I wanted.
