OK it would seem I was a little hasty in my last message. Just got an email from Ernie this morning. 3 x £25... Much better.
Just looking for one biggy over £5k please Ernie!0 -
For approximately three-quarters of the year I win one or two £25s each month (above average luck according to this site), most I've won has been £500. before the lowly £25 was introduced, my monthly winnings we usually £50, so that's halved in recent years.0

You can, and people do...........the returns for most people are below inflation, so that erodes the value of their capital.
Mind you, people do the same in some savings accounts0 -

I don't want to ruin my good luck but I've held 30K since last November and have won:
£125, 2x£25, 2x£50 and £75
I won the first month I was in it (December) and every month since except for January. I only bought them as I wanted a safe place to keep some money while waiting for FIL to sell his house and become financially stable.
thats barely 1% - hardly good luck !0 -
£1 for 44 years. nothing.0
