Ebay & people "requesting" feedback

That's bull. As a seller, YOUR side of the deal is complete once they have paid, therefore if they have paid by one of the payment options listed in your ad and in an acceptable amount of time then you should leave them positive feedback, end of story.
You come up with this same pathetic argument every time this subject comes up and it's just so utterly childish and immature - "I won't leave you feedback until you leave it for me first"    .
So what if the buyer does leave you unwarranted negative feedback, it's not the end of the world is it? Ebay has given everyone the option to follow up feedback so why don't you use it instead of acting in this patheticm, childish manner that is akin to being at Play School and then perhaps this same subject wouldn't come up every other week.

I guess when I started this thread, which was more to do with people almost demanding feedback, that this argument would be set off again. However I'm totally with frivolous_fay on this one, and the transaction isn't complete until the buyer has received the item, therefore the buyer completes feedback first or confirms they have received it. If they don't complete feedback I don't chase it, it doesn't bother me and comments like sc's certainly aren't going to change my mind0 -

Right, so you didn't actually want any help, you just posted hoping that people would tell you want you want to hear. Unreal. Why did you bother posting in the first place?Complete waste of bandwidth.

So how exactly did you help. My initial thread was what do people think about ebayers asking for feedback. Where did I ask for help about which order feedback should be left in? Unreal I think you said! Exactly!0 -

Sorry I forgot. I must only express an opinion if it's in agreement with the flock of sheep. There was nothing "unnice" about my reply. It was factual and to the point, period.

(Yes I know this is always controversial, who leaves feedback first?).
Can we at least include the whole sentence if we're going to quote somebody. This was more of a statement than a question, and possibly I should have put an exclamation mark instead of a question mark, however that wasn't the point of my thread, although that's what you've turned it into.0 -
I would leave them positive feedback, something along the lines of "Here's the positive feedback you demanded, hope you're happy now' :rotfl:Mr_Squiddy wrote: »Of course you might want to spell it correctly.
I can’t see a spelling error in John’s post, though one apostrophe is an inverted comma short. Word does not highlight an error.
What is your beef with it?0 -
Am I missing something?

It originally said "hope your happy" before it was edited just a few mins ago. But who cares? None of us are perfect.
