Ebay & people "requesting" feedback

i email asking for email confirmation if rec'd stating worry about P.O. or overseas mail.(true!)
usually get email and feedback from this.Every day above ground is a good one0 -
I don't understand the worry some people have over not receiving FB. In life you don't always get recognition from people... its the way of the world. Some people say thanks some don't, shrug and move on.
Do you look at your thanks count on here then PM everyone and ask for it???:dance:One good turn gets most of the duvet!! :dance:0 -
I would be quite miffed if someone emailed me asking for feedback. When buying I leave feedback when I have received the item and am happy with it, when selling, once I know the buyer is happy (usually they leave feedback to indicate this).
I have had quite a few sales where people haven't bothered, I don't think it is worth worrying about really. Not buying unnecessary toiletries 2024 26/53 UU, 25 IN0 -

That's bull. As a seller, YOUR side of the deal is complete once they have paid, therefore if they have paid by one of the payment options listed in your ad and in an acceptable amount of time then you should leave them positive feedback, end of story.
You come up with this same pathetic argument every time this subject comes up and it's just so utterly childish and immature - "I won't leave you feedback until you leave it for me first"    .
So what if the buyer does leave you unwarranted negative feedback, it's not the end of the world is it? Ebay has given everyone the option to follow up feedback so why don't you use it instead of acting in this patheticm, childish manner that is akin to being at Play School and then perhaps this same subject wouldn't come up every other week.

The transaction isn't over when the buyer completes payment or when the seller has posted the item. The transaction is complete when the buyer has received the item and is happy with it. Therefore, the buyer is in a position to leave feedback first (if they wish of course). Many things can go wrong in a transaction which requires both the buyer and seller to communicate with each other. How a buyer/seller reacts to problems is important and should therefore be reflected in any feedback given. It seems logical to leave feedback at the end of the process.-->♥<-- Sugar Coated Owl -->♥<--

Hi new to ebay threads and wonder if somebody can help me with a dilema.
Long story but brought some golf clubs in december - they did not arrive. Buyer confirmed he had sent them, he raised them lost with Royal Mail - I had to buy another set on Father Christmas's behalf. After lots of mail and me raising a paypal dispute finally got a refund in Feb and an apology email.
I have not left feedback - feel mean leaving neg as I have never done this (all mine are positive) but also would feel bad if somebody else brought from him and had to fight to get their cash back so have burried my head in the sand and not left any feedback - what do you think? The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0 -

If you say so  I see you couldn't resist coming here and putting YOUR tired old argument forward
Anyway if you cared to read my posts you'll see that I don't insist on feedback being left for me first. Yeah.. read... read again, and maybe think about it for 5 seconds. Failing that, just bung in a bunch of smileys and some random abuse.
Glad to see we have equal disdain for each others' opinions. I feel happier knowing I'm on the opposite side of the fence to you.My TV is broken!
