Now that's inspired me to do Beef bourguignon for tea :)

Had been debating whether to do an A shop as it's a 14 mile round trip and my kids don't do OJ with bits either (will have to dig out a tea strainer!)

Is there a ceiling to the APG voucher amount? Have already clocked it's max 10 items.

Please remember that it is unconfirmed. :)

    Hello everyone.

I'll post like Fudge_Cake (what a kind lady) with a few names.

To all of you, thank you for all the kind words and suggestions about my problems. I'll try not to makes this too long, but I have to say you guys are geniuses. I save so much money with all your help.

Thank you TrulyMadly for reminding me I had to post.

Snap-ant: No offence was taken by your post about the quiz. It's a great bit of fun each day and I don't take it too seriously. I just try and go as fast as i can. If I ever beat 20 seconds I'll retire. :rotfl:

To everyone who posted nice PMs offering advice and kind words, thank you so much. All your suggestions helped. I'm sorry I didn't reply to them all, I had dozens.

To everyone who posted not so nice PMs, especially about the quiz... GET STUFFED! :p:p

To those who asked by PM who the nasties were, let me say none of them were regular Elite 11+ guys; nor were they people who played the quiz either. It just shows that there are many more (trouble-making) lurkers on here than you would think.

Finally, 76rosie, thank you, thank you, thank you, you are brilliant and one suggestion you posted has turned my life upside down, very quickly. You said:

I spoke to my neighbour (rich guy, own business) through the wall about hopping on his wi-fi for a bit and all sorts of things happened at once.

He told me he and his lovely OH had been thinking of offering some help for a while, but knew i was a proud guy (true ) and maybe would see any offer of help as charity (false).

Anyway, first we set me up on his wireless net = happy kids, and ...

he offered me a job, working for him. I've done his accounts and a lot of his admin/computer stuff many times in the past when he's been very busy and because he's managed to expand the business was looking for someone full time to manage the admin side. His wife currently does it part-time (young family) and can't really cope with it full-time so he's offered the job to me. Money's not what I was on, but is better than benefits and at my age I'm not complaining. :)

I start today, so wish me luck.

    Ceriain :A

PS. Thanks again, all of you. :T
PPS. motherbear, thank you for the kind offer. I'm sorry I never got back to you personally, your message got lost in among all the PMs I got.

    Thats fantastic wonderful news :j

Glad things are turning around for you

Good morning all - now done 3 yoghurt oj shops so not much room in the fridge for anymore, though hubs has taken some oj to work to share around - the front page of the apg checker still says wait until after 6am following day but in the terms it says wait 3 hours, they did trial doing it sooner a few months ago but they encountered problems so hopefully they are all resolved now - might pop to A's and see if they have a couple of the things mentioned last night then I can check to see if 3 hours is OK and will know before school run so I can get more is necessary:beer:

It's the HTC Wildfire S, did a wicked deal on my upgrade and paying £7 a month with unlimited data. ;)

    Welcome nikkinoo 83

Still trying to catch up. I'm only 2 days behind now!

I also have the HTC Wildfire S since June. Though I don't have such a great deal (ORANGE). I pay £10.50 a month for 30mins talk / 500 texts / 100mb of data

On the whole I like the phone though I seem to have trouble with some of the downloads which never actually download
    The end is nigh
