    Hello everyone.

I'll post like Fudge_Cake (what a kind lady) with a few names.

To all of you, thank you for all the kind words and suggestions about my problems. I'll try not to makes this too long, but I have to say you guys are geniuses. I save so much money with all your help.

Thank you TrulyMadly for reminding me I had to post.

Snap-ant: No offence was taken by your post about the quiz. It's a great bit of fun each day and I don't take it too seriously. I just try and go as fast as i can. If I ever beat 20 seconds I'll retire. :rotfl:

To everyone who posted nice PMs offering advice and kind words, thank you so much. All your suggestions helped. I'm sorry I didn't reply to them all, I had dozens.

To everyone who posted not so nice PMs, especially about the quiz... GET STUFFED! :p:p

To those who asked by PM who the nasties were, let me say none of them were regular Elite 11+ guys; nor were they people who played the quiz either. It just shows that there are many more (trouble-making) lurkers on here than you would think.

Finally, 76rosie, thank you, thank you, thank you, you are brilliant and one suggestion you posted has turned my life upside down, very quickly. You said:

I spoke to my neighbour (rich guy, own business) through the wall about hopping on his wi-fi for a bit and all sorts of things happened at once.

He told me he and his lovely OH had been thinking of offering some help for a while, but knew i was a proud guy (true ) and maybe would see any offer of help as charity (false).

Anyway, first we set me up on his wireless net = happy kids, and ...

he offered me a job, working for him. I've done his accounts and a lot of his admin/computer stuff many times in the past when he's been very busy and because he's managed to expand the business was looking for someone full time to manage the admin side. His wife currently does it part-time (young family) and can't really cope with it full-time so he's offered the job to me. Money's not what I was on, but is better than benefits and at my age I'm not complaining. :)

I start today, so wish me luck.

    Ceriain :A

PS. Thanks again, all of you. :T
PPS. motherbear, thank you for the kind offer. I'm sorry I never got back to you personally, your message got lost in among all the PMs I got.

    Oh, that's great news. :T:T
Well done and good luck. :)

    Good morning all
    Firstly, fantastic news Cerian :T:T
Secondly, Huuuuge thanks to Worry Wart and everyone else who took the time to explain APG.
I got my first vouchers £13.34 and £12.79 on two £17 odd spends :D:D
Will be really pleased when the new store opens near me next Monday :)

Will have another gander on MSM later, but what I'm doing is adding any possible glitches to my shopping bag and will check the prices again just before I go.
Will be great if the wines, toiletries and washing powders compare as they don't need chilling or freezing :)
My husband says he will leave me if I don't stop shopping......... God I will miss that man.

Now that's inspired me to do Beef bourguignon for tea :)

Had been debating whether to do an A shop as it's a 14 mile round trip and my kids don't do OJ with bits either (will have to dig out a tea strainer!)

Is there a ceiling to the APG voucher amount? Have already clocked it's max 10 items.

I am amazed by how fast you and some others are at doing the quiz it takes me that long to scroll down the questions:rotfl:

Can't believe peeps would be nasty at your achievements i am really impressed, to get them all right would be a miracle let alone be the quicket.

Have you ever thought of Millionaire you'd be the fastest finger no doubt.:)

Plax bogof has ended. I still managed DTD today as some stores have left £1 posters up with big £1 pricetag and they go through the till at £3.29

The poster shows only colgate products and has both types of plax, a pack of toothbrushes and 3 types of toothpaste.

It is protruding from the aisles kind of like a clip strip

    Hope this helps someone
