    Hello everyone.

I'll post like Fudge_Cake (what a kind lady) with a few names.

To all of you, thank you for all the kind words and suggestions about my problems. I'll try not to makes this too long, but I have to say you guys are geniuses. I save so much money with all your help.

Thank you TrulyMadly for reminding me I had to post.

Snap-ant: No offence was taken by your post about the quiz. It's a great bit of fun each day and I don't take it too seriously. I just try and go as fast as i can. If I ever beat 20 seconds I'll retire. :rotfl:

To everyone who posted nice PMs offering advice and kind words, thank you so much. All your suggestions helped. I'm sorry I didn't reply to them all, I had dozens.

To everyone who posted not so nice PMs, especially about the quiz... GET STUFFED! :p:p

To those who asked by PM who the nasties were, let me say none of them were regular Elite 11+ guys; nor were they people who played the quiz either. It just shows that there are many more (trouble-making) lurkers on here than you would think.

Finally, 76rosie, thank you, thank you, thank you, you are brilliant and one suggestion you posted has turned my life upside down, very quickly. You said:
i was thinking that you could test out your wifi in the area or maybe someone nearby will let you have their passcode so you can use their net.

I spoke to my neighbour (rich guy, own business) through the wall about hopping on his wi-fi for a bit and all sorts of things happened at once.

He told me he and his lovely OH had been thinking of offering some help for a while, but knew i was a proud guy (true ) and maybe would see any offer of help as charity (false).

Anyway, first we set me up on his wireless net = happy kids, and ...

he offered me a job, working for him. I've done his accounts and a lot of his admin/computer stuff many times in the past when he's been very busy and because he's managed to expand the business was looking for someone full time to manage the admin side. His wife currently does it part-time (young family) and can't really cope with it full-time so he's offered the job to me. Money's not what I was on, but is better than benefits and at my age I'm not complaining. :)

I start today, so wish me luck.

    Ceriain :A

PS. Thanks again, all of you. :T
PPS. motherbear, thank you for the kind offer. I'm sorry I never got back to you personally, your message got lost in among all the PMs I got.

Thank you to whoever suggested downloading the coupon printer from the website as it just would not install properly on my DD laptop. So I have been happily printing a few more coupons this morning.

I have an unexpected child-free day. Sis and BIL were off to the seaside so have taken DS so I can have a rest. DS will be spoilt rotten, have a great time and come home thoroughly worn out :D
For some reason though I'm feeling very uneasy. Didn't want to spoil a nice day for him with my irrational emotions so have just waved them off. Need a good glitch to keep me occupied :o

keep the down feelings in perspective - glad you can identify them as irrational.
