  • Morning all!

    Happy birthday essexgirl

Congratulations to scuzz - happy for you :)

N9eav, I completely agree, its like we were saying yesterday about things being stolen in church - they'll not work for a living theiving ^&*%$$!!!!

Tee hee, funny thing is, I'm still at home, or rather back at home... Was taking Lil bro to work on my way to my w**k, when we were met with a total blizzard before even leaving the village. Visablity of less than 10 yards. Got to the roundabout on top of the main arterial route - police turned me back, they were bringing traffic back up the downwards sliproad. Never seen that before. Its pretty wild up here. We'll give it an hour and try again.

Not rushing though, after all, they're finishing me a week today (I did work very hard before, honest, just don't see the point now...)

Now then, at my hospital appointment yesterday, I was told I'm in early stages of developing underactive thyroid. Does anyone have it? I just wondered if there were anyone I could chat to about it?

Love and hugs to all who need them, (((hug))) esp CCStar after yesterday and dlb after nasty parents!

    PG xx

Just read this in Prima magazine and it made me laugh, hope it is OK to quote here but otherwise mods please do remove:

Prima Homes Expert shows you how to clean like a pro with narure's finest ingredients......

Glist Magic Vinegar multi-action dishwasher tablets have harnessed the wel-known traditional benefits of vinegar or dishwashing with a streak-free shine at a price of £5.79 for 30 tablets

    How much?

    Morning all

Hope everyone is well today and happy.

I woke up at 5am this morning having a nightmare about loads of people coming for dinner and I cooked them all foods that they hate or are allergic to. I woke up mortified. Is it really sad that my idea of a nightmare is undercatering or someone leaving our house hungry?!

OH is away at a work conference tonight, so will be quiet at home tonight, really miss him when he's away (sorry, bit soppy for this time of the morning). A friend is having trouble with a BOY so will invite her over or go and see her to try and cheer her up.

    I hope everyone has a good day x x x

    Good Morning All

Happy Birthday essex girl have a lovely day!

n9eav that must have been awfull to find that sort of damage. You dont mind doing the repairs if it was weather damaged, but to repair 'cos some toe rad helped themselves - now thants annoying!

catowen at least your friends daughter knows you well enough to wait at yours. Wont be long before the exams will be over! Are they just visiting or actually moving out to be with your friend? (gosh - sounds really nosey)

Dlb you played that cool with the other mum! I would have 'lamped her one!

Paulie's Girl my mum is the opposite, size 8 and weighs about 7.5 stone and she's been diagnosed with an over active thyroid.!!! Not sure can help you on this one luv!

Very cold here, not much happening in this household.

OH needed to print some documents off the pc last night, and a warning error came up ref the printer. He decided to get the tool box out and fiddle, and now its stopped working all together

Off to do the school run now
    Have a nice day all
    Take care

  • Hi Guys!

Flippin freeeeeezing here:D ...have put the gas fire on in lounge as I cant seem to get warm and have 3 layers on:eek:

DD off school again as she is still quite ill. OH took her to doctors yesterday and she has flu. Couldnt give her anything but suggested paracetomol, nurofen and vicks. Had some menthol crystals in the medicine box so put some in boiling water and asked her to put her head over with a towel. She didnt like it and started crying, but has helped clear some of the muck of her chest;) I have such a sore throat and my body isnt doing much today coz of the pain...being cold makes me worse:mad:

Not enough washing to put a load on but DW will be on soon and toilet scrubbed and descaled. Kitchen has been bleached down and whole house pretty good...well except DD's room...but thats her problem!

Bought a Berlei sports bra from Ebay last week and was advertised as only worn once and a 34DD...great...perfect...it has come this morning and is manky...stretched...washed out...and a size 32DD....I am not happy..so have sent the seller a nice polite email:p

Had £20 of M&S vouchers arrive this morning too, am saving for a decent frying pan, so thats over half of it. Have to wrap 3 Ebay items today and have sold £48 this week and thats without postage. Managed to sell the A4 suspension files that I bought the wrong ones of last week and get money back, so have re-ordered the correct Foolscap ones....derrrrr!!:o

Anyway, Id best go. Hugs to all.

    Queenie-Are you OK?

  • Crazychik,

That used to be me! I used to be one who turned sideways and disappeared (although I've always been gifted in the chest department!) For years my mum struggled to get me over 7 stone. .

Then overnight... womph! Size 16, XX stone, and depressingly I can't shift it, dieting, exercise don't seem to work. Mum used to pick on me a bit!

Does that mean once they medicate it I can be a size 10 again? I wanna be one when we get married :)

    Paulie's Girl

If it works with medication - let me know and I'll try some!
I was exactly like you, yrs ago, I had to put weight on to join the army, but since having the children, (and stopping smoking during pregnancy) My weight/size went up. I will ask mum more about it when I see her next. But I always thought an underactive thyroid was for lighter people and the over active was for larger people!

    Hi

Does anyone know how to add anyone to the ignore list? I tried and it isn't working

Someone has been really nasty to me in a thread and I want to be able to add them to the ignore list.

Apart from that all peaceful and OK so far but far from finished.
    An average day in my life:hello: :eek::mad: :coffee::coffee::coffee::T :o :rotfl: :rotfl: :p :eek::mad: :beer:
