Hi everyone,
Paulie's Girl I have pm'd you re: underactive thyroid - I've had one for 20 years. If you are prescribed thyroxine make sure your doctor fills in a form so that you get a prescription exemption, it's one of the few conditions where you can get free prescriptions (includes everything even if it's not thyroid related).
Had a lovely weekend, thank you everyone for the birthday wishes. Relaxed at the spa with dd and then had a meal with her, her boyfriend and dh. Also got lovely mother's day cards from dd and ds. Dh gave me tickets to Mary Poppins for Saturday and the dvds of Victorian Kitchen Garden, Victorian Flower garden and Victorian Kitchen. I loved them when they were originally shown.
Am slowly getting into the housework again, after a couple of weeks of feeling pants.

CCStar, I went over to check out what was distressing you so much, and you are right to be upset. That’s no way to speak to anyone. So I’ve reported those posts as abuse and posted a little something. Big hugs honey (})
Snoozer, thanks for the PM. I wasn’t aware of that regarding prescriptions. That’s great news, cos my season ticket costs me a mint!

its still really cold here with snow showers, i could do with a nice cup of tea, i think i will invite myself to the high tea math is providing
with the three tier cake stand, scones and pancakes on the bottom, then fancy cakes then the biscuits you worked your way up and paid for what you had eaten, oh happy days, then if maths baking is no good i can take it home to the birds
i was wondering about queenie too penny-pincher, i think she has a friend who is ill so she might be busy
hugs to ccstar and everyone xx0 -

Hi everyone.
CCstar I've just read that person's comments on the other thread. What a nasty piece of work he/she is. If you look back at some of their other comments on various threads you will see a pattern of their negativity, bile etc. I bet he/she doesn't have many friends, unlike you!
Well the wind is cold up here, so I went out wearing 4 layers of clothing this morning. After dropping the girls at school I went to help out at the church drop-in and scoffed too many cakes and biscuits, whilst making tea and coffee for everyone!
My plans for the rest of the day include some schoolwork, tidying up, making a ham pasta bake for tea and listing a few more things on ebay.
Have a great rest of the day if you can.0 -
