Well I have managed to find the photocopy of the sick note work haven't received so have faxed it to them - I may get two weeks pay now instead of one for the month. Also DH will be able to get the one which is current tomorrow which I will fax tomorrow evening - then everything can be posted on Thursday - and I can requested another one from the GP on the same day!!! I bet this one's only for two weeks and my wound's still oozing so I think it's looking like mid-April for my return to work now - shame......
I knew you can go to Uni in Bonnie Scotland when you're 16 - courtesy of DH. O grades and highers etc. Sounds a much better system quite frankly get them out into the real world - although I never got over children not be allowed up chimneys anymore
I am so cold and feeling so rotten that I am retreating back to my bed with a nice hot water bottle and what DH refers to as "a dead body book". I just feel really tired all the time and my wound's been bleeding as well - probably a combination of when I fell over in the garden and when I fell on the stairs the other day.
Right off for a snooze. But I'm going to say this once, and once only, Gene. Stay out of Camberwick Green0 -

Hi everyone.
CCstar I've just read that person's comments on the other thread. What a nasty piece of work he/she is. If you look back at some of their other comments on various threads you will see a pattern of their negativity, bile etc. I bet he/she doesn't have many friends, unlike you!
Well the wind is cold up here, so I went out wearing 4 layers of clothing this morning. After dropping the girls at school I went to help out at the church drop-in and scoffed too many cakes and biscuits, whilst making tea and coffee for everyone!
My plans for the rest of the day include some schoolwork, tidying up, making a ham pasta bake for tea and listing a few more things on ebay.
Have a great rest of the day if you can.
Aw thank you, I am touched - I did read some back comments from these people and they were rather barbed.
It is raw out there isn't it. Deffo hot soup or bake weatherAn average day in my life:hello: :mad: :coffee::coffee::coffee::T:rotfl: :rotfl:

Permission to be absent from the OS board for ONE MONTH:eek:
Once they kidz break up from school I shall be heading over to the coast for two weeks, where I do not have any internet connection (although I do sneak into the library to keep my beady eye on you all as I teeter on the eastern brink of the country). The two weeks after that I have been offered work in the local borough council offices in the run up to local elections:j the money will be nice although it will get in the way of my OS posting;)
CCstar keep ya pecker up we know you ain't no troll;)Life's a beach! Take your shoes off and feel the sand between your toes.0 -

I feel much more human today after some sleep... Presentation went ok this morning but I didn't realise it was worth 25% of my module   kinda glad i didn't know really or i would have been even more nervous!!!
Off to the PO now to get a postal order sent. Only 1 hour left with my ka... pick the new focus up at 5  I'm really upset about selling it - it's my 1st car and have had her (Katherine the Ka) from new... bit nervous about swapping for an older car, but it is a top of the range one, and only a few years older and it drives beautifully
And if I miss Kat (
) the garage is less than 2minutes walk from the flat so I can visit her on the forecourt :rotfl:
Best get a shift on, Happy Birthday Essex-Girl... and :grouphug: to all in need.0
