  • Hello everybody - well my snooze was lovely and I've just got back up!!! Ahh the little luxuries in life. Have decided that if the oven is going on for chicken breast in sauce (sauce to be confirmed) I may as well bake as well - was thinking about not doing it. I've also defrosted some crumpets from the freezer but I couldn't actually see the date on them due to "crinkle" from the ice so I hope they're okay. Best watch "American Dad" as well to free up some space for the ever gorgeous DI Gene Hunt. I hope everyone has a nice and relatively peaceful night, I'll try and pop back in before bedtime - oooh that time already???? I really could sleep for England. On a good note I got some of my seeds today - candytuft and alysium (probably spelt that wrong) - good, bright fillers and a cheque for a medicolegal case for the consultant - so that's £600 to her and £60 to me!! hurrah!! We will eat next month cinders :D
But I'm going to say this once, and once only, Gene. Stay out of Camberwick Green :D

Well I turned down the job I was offered as it was too many hours. 8.30am till 5pm and there was no way on the planet I could do that and handle a house and 2 kids by myself!!

I may also have some other news soon but I'm waiting to see how that pans out before I launch it on the world.
Organised people are just too lazy to look for things

How do people do it? Work FT and have a house and children to look after.

I hope the news is good

I tried that and it didn't work either. I will have another go now.

I had another bad night last night was still awake at 3.30am. I got up just before 9am having had breakfast brought up by OH. Is he feeling guilty I wonder????

Then went off to see my friend who has sold her bungalow to go into a house, she needs her head looking at, spent a fortune after her OH died 2 years ago and is now moving.....nuts........now she is going on about the alterations she wants to make to her new property.....I pointed out to her that for some of them she would need building regs, and if she insisted on taking out a wall between the kitchen and dining room she needed a RSJ otherwise the house would fall down........why she asked, its only a wall and there is a door in it already.....not the brightest person at times........

I came home exhausted, had some lunch and floped on the settee when I had finished preparing the supper, slept for 2 hours.

We have just has our supper, mince and tatties with chocolate mousse to follow..........

OH is being very prickly, I am really fed up with his attitude. His son should be thankful that I am the one looking after his dad and not him....its me it is affecting.........I have had to up my painkillers to 3 times a day to control the pain of my fibromyalgia, up until recently I was only taking the occasional couple and my hands are getting worse.....I cannot wring out a cloth......

Enough of my moaning, I am off to trawl the country living pages for half an hour, I think its called escapism................
    Was 13st 8 lbs,Now 12st 11 Lost 10 1/4lbs since I started on my diet.

What can a doctor do? - he can't stop my OH shouting at me or get the house sold or get my car here. It is solid practical things that need to happen, so I can go.

I need to feel clear to think straight so don't want to start with pills. My experience of them hasn't been helpful and given me more problems on top.

I don't mean to sound rude and I appreciate your concern but I've done that before and it didn't help.

I'll meditate on the lovely cat photos - I used to have a real one who was a Godsend:)
