No it isn't means tested. Look here https://www.ppa.org.uk/ppa/medex.htm it explains it. There is a list of 9 things which qualify for free prescriptions. Under active thyroid is called myxoedema on the list. If she is taking thyroxine she should qualify.

Hi everyone... just popping in to update, will read through the thread when i have some time to myself, am shattered today so am about to crash in front of the Tv and pop the hot water on for a bath!

Sending hugs to those who need/want them.

Had a busy day trapseing round the shops.... got measured at Bravissimo last Thursday and found out my real bra size.... needless to say it's not a popular one, even in the D+ range :( I managed to try on loads but only buy one! The one I bought was in Matalan and £7... I tried on lots in M&S but they were all awful. going to get one of the ones I tried on in Bravissimo but as they are almost £30 each I shall have to stick to one a month or something similar! Haha. The lady with 2 bras I'll be... one on and one in the wash!

Lots of chores to do tomorrow and Ebaying, working on site and job applications *yawn*... need to get a screen filter as it's hard for me a lot of the time to look at a bright screen without my eyes hurting :( Will prob make some jewellery too so that my site is well stocked when it's finally up and running, and I'll sell some on Etsy whilst it's not.

Gonna design some postcards to put in shop windows for private tuition seeing as though the supply is a bit bare at the mo on the South Coast! I was told I should be a pet groomer too... am going to be giving pup his first haircut this week.... wish me luck!! Hahaha.

    Un sou est un sou

Well bang goes my peaceful day where I was starting to recover and calm down.

My OH said our son wants to get more of his stuff. OK he could have come tomorrow night but I have to clean where he moves stuff out. I was so not in the mood to clean today and frankly sick of fine cleaning this place and the jokers who are messing with us over viewings.

I have two people saying they want to come back but not set dates, so more torture.

I don't mind normal cleaning but the way I have to keep this place tidy is insane and them dirtying it within minutes.

So I am in the mood from hell when OH comes home and he starts shouting at me for feeling angry about it all when it was landed on me at short notice.

So my son comes in into us having a blazing row and he of course starts being all nice to our son. He winds me up in private then goes all nice to people once he has thoroughly upset me to the point of intense rage.

I am stupid to fall for it but I am so tired and stressed. Stressed with the inactivity and jokers regarding this house. Not sleeping well, our son having a bad attitude and my husband shouting at me for being angry about it all and not sorting our son out - I blame him for our son leaving as he has been like this all along.

It is one thing on top and he knows it. He plays the martyr in front of people and I look like the shrew. I feel sh*te about myself for going that way and this place is like a prison. They can't give a date on the car, so tempted to cancel it and get a second hand one immediately (well quicker).

Our son has gone away, I haven't been able to eat and we are both in our rooms now calming down. I am too angry to face him and wish he wasn't here.

The main issue I have with my OH is him shouting at me when I am feeling low which sends me off the planet with rage and him being a martyr when there are people around - how he can switch so easily from shouting his blaming guilt inducing cr*p at me to being all calm and sweet in front of others is disturbing.

How much can a day change in 10 hours.

DSD has lost her job at Stansted due to an employment agencies incompetence. She's spent the day in floods of tears.

DH's car window was smashed to get his laptop bag (fortunately the laptop was in his overnight bag which they didn't nick.) Still £75 for new glass:mad:

My gran has got a place in the nursing home down the road so I've effectively gained another dependant (who is more demanding than my 5 kids put together). She arrives on the day I get back from Spain (30th).

Phone call from DS1's school. They are not going to permanently exclude him as the teacher realises he could have handled things better. I still feel his card is marked. He's off school for a month now - not exactly great for his education.

Off to dish up dinner now.

    Hugs to all in need.

You sound to have had a hellish day - (((((huge hugs))))))
