I haven't knocked Kwik Fit in the past and I have had reasonable service from them for tyres, MoT etc.

However, I am astounded that they fitted the wrong tyre size to daughter's car, replacing one that was punctured. Instead of 165/60 they have fitted 165/65. Visually, it looks bigger. It's not exactly brain surgery getting a matching tyre.

Anyway, back tomorrow, hopefully for a grovelling apology.

Mistakes do happen, even the best tyre fitter can have an off day.;)

Have to admit i have done this in the past, i fitted the correct size for the car but the owner had fitted different sized ones to the manufacturer

do you still offer the nitrogen inflation service?
  • dunno why there are reps here, 2008 and 12 posts!

why bother rep, the national concesus is that the company isnt very good to start with.

make me laugh when i see a rep here, avoid the really big mistakes you make when people post here, but a simple tyre mistake is jumped upon. ROFL

Air is 78% nitrogen, 21% oxygen, 1% argon.

Why would you need more nitrogen?
