I don't buy this "anyone can make a mistake" nonsense. This is for a product that is marked on both sides and is clearly visible to all that look at it. Not much of a quality system going on there.
Is it OK for them to wait for a customer to bring to their attention when they've chucked on the wrong (non-visible) bits on brakes, suspension or servicing?

Nice to meet a guy that has never made a mistake0 -
wallbash, I've made plenty of mistakes, but fit the wrong size tyre to a car or any other wrong, major component to a car? Never. It's simple and easy to check whether replacing like for like or referring to the specs.0

I bought it new, 3 year warranty, few weeks later the battery is as flat as a pancake. I took it out and left it in the kitchen on the floor. Took it to the local branch, manager refuses to deal with it saying that being on the floor will damage it due to the cold. Apparently my centrally heated home is colder than the battery shelf of a car through the cold nights.
Care to explain that logic, why my battery was faulty, why you refused to honour the warranty (which would be sorted by your supplier) or give me a refund?
I used to be a regular customer until that point. I was on first name terms with the manager of that branch and after I was treated like that I've never been back.
