nitrogen stops the expansion from heat an cold that air goes through tjus varing tyre pressure depending on temp and possibly increasing uneven tyre wear. nitrogen if pure dont expand so the pressure is more of a constant0

The nitrogen issue has been done to death here and is generally accepted as not being worth the time effort or expense. Evidentally it migrates trough the rubber being of smaller particle size, well something like that, purely a gimmick on carpfits part, I think the poster mentioned it with just a hint of sarcasm,
:D
I wonder if after all the complaints since 2008, and there have been hundreds on here, the "rep" could only find a defence for 8 of them;);)I like the thanks button, but ,please, an I agree button.
Will the grammar and spelling police respect I do make grammatical errors, and have carp spelling, no need to remind me.;)

Well, no problem when I took the car back. Correct tyre fitted and the original fitter was hauled out to apologise.. I must admit that, despite the mistake, the local branch are pretty good for the basics -- MOT, tyres, etc. Several MoTs and no extra work needed.Je suis sabot...0

Absolute and complete b*llocks on a road car. Money making scam to get more money out of customers.0 -

I hope they made sure that your unnecessary trips were taken into account and gave you something back to apologise for their gross negligence?0 -
A mistake was made , it was brought to their attention , it was fixed ( quickly and without any fuss) well done Kwik Fit.
I take those causing a fuss ( but funny NOT the OP ) are perfect in everything they do.
Again .......well done Kwikfit0 -
I'm afraid Kwik Fit aren't in my good books either. Took my car in for an MOT this morning at 10am. They tried to start it with someone else's car key (Rover 200 not 800) and triggered the anti-theft device meaning my car is immobile. They've just called to say they can't get the part to fix it until Monday!
They tried to make out they hadn't used the wrong key to start with, until my Husband argued the point and they admitted it then.0 -

we're sorry to hear this.
While you're here, don't suppose you'd care to deal with my defective car battery you sold me a year or two back that your manager then refused to deal with?
I bought it new, 3 year warranty, few weeks later the battery is as flat as a pancake. I took it out and left it in the kitchen on the floor. Took it to the local branch, manager refuses to deal with it saying that being on the floor will damage it due to the cold. Apparently my centrally heated home is colder than the battery shelf of a car through the cold nights.
Care to explain that logic, why my battery was faulty, why you refused to honour the warranty (which would be sorted by your supplier) or give me a refund?
I used to be a regular customer until that point. I was on first name terms with the manager of that branch and after I was treated like that I've never been back.0 -

Me thinks that you won't be hearing from them here.0 -
