A work mate of mine always got wound up by the way I pronounced the letter 'H',apparently the way I pronounce 'H' is the same as a certain section of NI society, although to me it's normal as it's the way I was tought to speak growing up in the Midlands...Always used to find it funny really in it's pettyness.0

I know you mean well, but really what you are discussing is sectartianism and not a road I hope this thread goes down.0 -
Leave our Frank Mitchell alone. Whoops, that's one of them personal pronoun things. Hate car drivers going round a corner at two miles an hour! What are you doing, parking? Or them sitting in the overtaking lane because they are turning right 14 bloody miles down the road.0

Or those who indicate right to go straight on at a roundabout. Or those who use the left lane to go right at a roundabout.0

There used to be simple adverts on TV explaining what way to indicate when going round a roundabout. You just do not get adverts like that anymore. Used to get one for parallel parking and crossing the road. Maybe some simple adverts like those would help improve driving standards.0 -
Anyone else remember

Aggggghhhhhhhhhh I hate this too!!!! Crap driving in general annoys me:
Drivers who don't use their indicators
Drivers who don't know how to use a roundabout
Drivers who think that putting on their hazard lights enables them to drive like a tw*t
Drivers who jump red lights
Drivers who hedge their bets and straddle two lanes approaching junctions/lights
Drivers who mount AND DRIVE ALONG pavements to get to their parking spot
Bus drivers who pull out when a car is halfway past them and force the other driver into the path of oncoming traffic
And so on...My pet hate - people who ignore empty parking spaces and drive right up to the door of the garage shop and park there to go in and get their bread, fags or whatever. This usually entails blocking the way for other motorists. The ones who park at fuel pumps while not actually purchasing fuel are beyond lazy and stupid.

They park on the pavement and do not allow buggies or the elderly with zimmer frames to pass. They think outside my window is theirs!!! It is the same two well built ladies who are there every day. Can I reverse out of my drive - NO!! because they park right up to the edge and I cannot get an angle to reverse. Are my cones legal?- no of course not. Would I park my car outside another persons house every single day - NO!! I put my cones out until those two ladies have found an alternative space( I know their registration off by heart) and then I take the cones away to allow other people to come and go throughout the day. Cones - I love them!!!
I used to live in Belfast and people would park outside my house all day, its part and parcel of living within walkign distance of the city centre.
The coners annoy me too, and that includes you.
I got really annoyed one day when someone told me off for parking outside their house, and went on and on and on about how they needed that space for their son to come and collect them or something like that.
I was parking there because it was the closest space to my house (3 streets away though!) and because they annoyed me I didn't move the car for 3 days (I wasn't intending on using the car anyway - but would probably have moved it too my own house whenever i got a space)
As far as I am concerned I pay my car tax so am entitled to on any road I want as long as its legal.Weight loss challenge, lose 15lb in 6 weeks before Christmas.0
