    Hi all,

Not had a chance to read yet, will have a good nose later:D

Had a carp nights sleep last night, woke at 12 and finally dropped off at about 4 - feel like a bag of spanners now:cool:

I am becoming seriously addicted to pinterest - i just love it, some fab food ideas on it, I have a list a mile long to try and make...:T

Finished early today, so have done a couple of loads of washing, now on airer, am making a quick curry tonight using half price jar sauce, works out cheaper than the coconut milk based curry I normally make - why has coconut milk gone up so much???

I,m looking forward to the weekend, as we pick our new boys up - 2 new kittys to drive us mad and keep us entertained, I do feel a bit guilty as our 2 old ladies will not know whats hit them, we got 2 kittens as we thought they,d annoy each other and not hinge and bracket...

Hope the poorlies are feeling better x

    Love and hugs to all.

    Have a fab evening xx

Evening all, 'tis your fair weather friend here although to be honest there's not fair about the weather here.

I have been very rubbish about keeping up with the thread, tbh it was just too difficult to read and post from my phone, but I trust you are all well and fighting your own various demons.

I have been a bit slack on the OS side of things, but as the kids are now on thir school hols I need to get back into the swing of things pdq, and will try to keep myself in check by keeping up here.

    Have a lovely evening all,

Me too!!! I love Pinterest so much, my boards are just getting bigger and bigger :)

I got back from work half4 and knew that if I sat down that would be it cos I'm shattered. So as the rain has stopped I bunged a load in the WM on the 30min wash, and used those 30mins to clean kitchen, put away dishes, sort dried laundry and make pot of veggie chilli (tonight's tea and at least 2 LO's), sort recycling and quick tidy :D very pleased with myself now!

No plans for tonight other than to paint my nails and watch tv :)

Coconut milk is stupidly expensive now, and they've started making it much thinner as well. I gave up on getting it in regular supermarkets and get a box of cans once a year from an Asian market. Chaokoh is the brand - comes in brown and white tins and is really thick and gorgeous.

Weather here is overcast and disgustingly humid today and it has completely stolen all my energy. Just as well hubs has asked that we have a mini July 4th tonight with hotdogs and oven chips. Easy peasy :D

Hilstep, hope you get these falls sorted out soon before you get in serious danger. Big hugs and hope you feel better soon.

JackieG - Good to 'see' you, this Glasgow weather is horrid isn't it?

I've done lots of little 'niggly' jobs today and made overdue phone calls so not a completely wasted day, I just feel shattered and glad I have a night off work. Going to see The Angels Share with DD later, hope I don't fall asleep!

Off to cook turkey stir fry, I have even made my own sweet and sour sauce.

    Take care. XX

Hi everyone my its a sticky day today,I am actually looking for a drop of rain to freshen things up a bit.
camelot1001 My friend was so chuffed with the book every now and then she will phone me up and tell me what she's just made. She is a dear soul and struggling finacially at the moment Hopefully things will be better once her divorce is settled and she can move on with her life @ things will get a bit better for her .Her OH is being a bit of a so and so about cash, and she is hoping that once their house is sold and the division of cash will give her enough to buy somewhere smaller and cheaper to run.He went off with a much younger model, silly old devil. I think when his new lady love finds out that he's not as well off as he makes out she will be off like a shot.(My friends house is pretty big and I think she( the other woman) thinks the old feller is loaded ,but by the time my mate finished with him he won't be ):):)
well time to sort out some dinner methinks .
    take care all

    Hi.

It's been nice here today until about an hour ago when the heavens opened again.

DIL2B and DGS came over. Grandson staying with his Dad as his Mum and her husband have gone abroad on a nice holiday for just the two of them. They do this every year and until a couple of years ago the poor boy had never had a holiday. Now they propose to take him away in the school holiday but he is resisting because he wants to come over here and stay with his Dad and step-Mum 2B. We went to the toyshop which is his great treat when he visits me. Being autistic he still likes toys that are a bit young for his age group. When we finally settled on one I said that it looked as though his Dad would have to put it all together tonight. DIL said that was OK, his Dad wouldn't mind and DGS said thoughtfully, "No, he's a good man." It made me quite tearful for some reason.

Having taken them out to lunch and the Rev having had lunch out at some 'do', tea will be something on toast and some brownies LO from yesterday.

FB: You are tired my dear, because you work tremendously hard and are just about ready for a break. Will you be getting one soon?

Rosy Red: This weather I slice my bread and put it in the freezer. Being only 2 of us we don't get it used up quickly enough. We just take a slice out as needed.

LW: So sorry about the pain you are in. I wish I could parcel up some of my ill-deserved good health and send it to you.

Nice to hear from you jackieg. we've missed you.

Lovely empty evening ahead of me so am off to lounge about, watch TV, (the Rev tonight!) and do some knitting.

It was my ex who organised a b'day party for DD, hence why I wasn't invited, but he didn't do it til he found out I had one planned, hopefully he'll grow up eventually, lol.
So busy at work my head is spinning, hubby will finish about 10ish, I shall chill & do some crochet until he phones for a lift.
    Have a good evening everyone.
    Hugs Hester
