I have made my choice people. My kids and poverty over money and not spending time with them (13 yr old Boy and 6 yr old girl) I make no apologies for that.0

While that is understandable in many ways, that does not mean that you will automatically receive JSA in the meantime.0 -

I know you must be frustrated, but for future reference, you really do not come across very well on this thread.
Good luck.
I deal in truths, its better in the long run.
Unimpressed by unhelpful responses, as would anyone no?0 -

Nope it was through a friend who was the head of HR for the company (no longer a friend of course) she sat in my front room and quoted me figures...felt good at the time and I was motivated to do it, move on and do something new and exciting. Except the truth wasn't what she said...
and as for the mortgage thing, I'll be able to keep up with the mortgage in time, and if one of the previous posters here thinks it takes 13 weeks to lose a mortgage? I would dearly love to see their evidence.
Im not thick about this, I came here for genuine advice. Im critical enough of myself without the 'help' of anyone else.
Sounds a bit strange to quit your job before having an offer in writing stating the terms of employment.
Is there something you are keeping quiet about here, such as a failure to meet expected levels of performance?0 -

Yup, this is true... but then I didnt expect that either0 -

Nope, been on or above national benchmarks for 90% of the time and in FE that's above average. More to do with being sick of learners circumstances being my statistical fault and having to explain this... for no positive reaction. its the state FE is in at the moment.
I had 'gospel' from the head of HR who I trusted...my bad and my fault for being trusting... :rotfl:0 -

What has that got to do with working for a chain of restaurants?
Seems that the private sector has come as a bit of a shock to the system.0 -

Do you feel your question has been answered now?
Not really. No specifics dealt with just a load of abuse. Not what I expected TBH. I kinda hoped people would give advice based on their own experiences with this. Instead most of those here have come across as arrogant, offhand or just plain aggressive.
Like I said I'm very used to this and give it short shrift. Sorry I'm no shrinking violet and if those who wish to vent spleen wish to do so then they can do it elsewhere.
I do thank those who have given their time, it is appreciated0 -

The salient facts are:- You were employed
- You left your job
- You have signed on for JSA
And you want to know if you will be paid JSA? Is that right?
If that is your question, then I have explained it will be down to the decision maker. I'm not sure there is any more advice that can be offered, as this is what will happen. Fact.0 -
