I dont think Im unrealistic about my kids looks, when my second one came out after a bit of a traumatic birth I was a bit weary when all the other new Mums tried to come over and look at him :D. He soon turned into a good looking child though ;).

What disturbs me slightly is the women who have their babies pictures taken for the local papers 'Cutest Kid' competitions.

In my old workplace some people used to bring the paper in and mock the children at luchtime .

But that is essentially what they are doing, putting pictures of their children out there to be judged.

Actually, for once, I agree with Tod

Although I've never really been a baby person, think they all look quite squashed n stuff (apart from caesarian births). There are a pair of twins in our street who look like the offspring of aliens. Maybe they will improve when their hair starts thickening up to cover their odd shaped heads, but I can't help thinking of Aliens every time I see them.

They are lovely kids really, but I still think the mother must have been abducted or something.

    Bless them.

I've always wondered if foreign babies all look like Churchill the way British ones do?

Mine looked like one of the aliens from Avatar after they'd finished mangling her with the forceps - black and blue pointy head.

She's still gorgeous to me though (and no longer has a black and blue pointy head thankfully)

One of mine looked lovely, hadn't been forced through the birth canal, the other looked like a pound puppy :rotfl: Was so ugly I was sure he wasn't mine :rotfl: Then I realised he looked like his father

The aliens next door have weird shaped heads, when I say that, I don't mean pointy from forceps or anything, they are almost 3. But really strange shaped, very wide at the top and tiny wee faces.... oh you've got me started now, they just looks strange.

Bless em, they are quite nice kiddies.

I remember when my sister was pregnant i asked her how she would feel if she had an ugly baby. My mother smartly piped up "I coped!".
