Funny looking babies

All babies look a bit odd. What human doesn't with a bald head and no teeth.
Its when they get to about 8 or 9, and you cant for the life of you work out if other peoples kids are a boy or a girl. Now that freaks me out. Definately something amiss in the gene pool then, me thinksThe best day of your life is the one on which you decide your life is your own, no apologies or excuses. No one to lean on, rely on or blame. The gift is yours - it is an amazing journey - and you alone are responsible for the quality of it. This is the day your life really begins.0 -
Yayy, it's a Tod thread :rotfl:
Now which babies do you find funny-looking, Tod? The ones who seem to be born with a full head of dark hair look a bit odd to me, but then the babies in our family were all blond little baldies.0 -
My first two babies were 'pretty', my third DID look like Winston Churchill - different shaped head and face altogether. Luckily he grew into a nice looking adult and all three of them look very similar.0

Oh this takes me back more than 20 years!
My first daughter had just the right amount of dark hair and a perfect rosebud mouth, expressive eyes, I could go on, suffice to say she was a beauty.
Two years later second daughter came along and I was expecting another one along the same lines. Well why not?
What appeared was a little beetrroot red baldie with a scrunced up face!
Of course I loved her ( after about 12 hours of shock) but I do remember being embarrased when out pushing the pram for a little bit!
She is now a gorgeous leggy blonde:)Norn Iron Club member 4730 -
I also get freaked out by the babies that have long hair, like 6 months old, and a bob haircut or something0

DD was lovely. DS had a big nose. I commented on it to the midwife who agreed and I was horrified .
He grew into it.
Still waiting to grow into mine.

My first born DS was so cute, and still is at 11:-). When my DD was born, no hair and red faced, well what could I say;-(. Her hair never grew until she was 4!, she is pretty now at 9:-)0

I couldnt help but comment on dear Toddy's thread lol, have to admit that I have at times looked at other peoples babies and thought to myself Good Grief what a strange looking child,( poor things, its not their fault) when I was pregnant with my DS, I prayed for a good looking baby( thankfully my prayers were answered) but have decided not to have anymore just in case lol, my brother is not a kid person at all( although he loves his nephew very much) he still says all babies look like aliens are noisy and they smell.LOVE isn't finding someone you can live with. It's finding someone you can't live WITHOUT0
