my DS was OK but awful cone head!
DD was badly bruised all over her face as she just didn't want to wait to come out, impatient soul. I loathe looking at her early pics as she looks horrendous, all grey over her face and puffy looking :eek:
Thankfully she's a lovely (most of the time) nearly 4 year old

DD was lovely. DS had a big nose. I commented on it to the midwife who agreed and I was horrified :eek:.
He grew into it.

When my DS was born, what totally ruined it for me was my MIL said "oh, doesn't she look like X?" Who was actually her mother.
She compared her to a fat old lady. Well that was it, the bonding, the love between a mother and daughter all ruined and all I could see was that my baby looked like some fat old lady.
however now she doesn't and she is tall and leggy and blonde and beautifulMSE Forum's favourite nutter :T0
