    Beauty is in the eye of the beholder and all that!

    Actually what you consider funny looking is probably perfectly normal to their parents, we tend to find babies attractive that look like our family (it's a survival trait)

    I'm always surprised when people say 'Oh isn't s/he beautiful?' I can't see it myself, but perhaps it's better than saying 'God this one's ugly'. Babies just look like babies to me, all the same.

    You don't need to. You can tell when people think your baby is ugly.... they say 'Awww, what a cute outfit'.
    I enjoy a pint of beer each night for it's health benefits. The other pints are for my witty comebacks and flawless dance moves.

    Squashed tomatos always spring to mind with a newborn. I'm sure if I ever have kids I'll think it's the cutest thing ever. Maybe labour has an effect on the eyesight? ;)
