Are you are of the SayNo website?

Thank you, I just looked but it was all for DWP numbers which aren't free on Virgin! I have an O2 contract but my mobile is broken and I am STILL waiting on the claim form, they should be emailing it to me today hopefully.
  • I was off to a good start on monday, and had planned a major flylady style clean up of the house yesterday......

..well, you know what they say "If you want to make god laugh, tell him your plans".

My sons preschool rang to say he'd had a bang on the head and could I collect him. He had a HUGE egg on his head. By the time I got him home he was drowsy and seemed confused, he then fell asleep and i couldn't wake him!! :eek:Ended up calling 999 and spending the day in A&E. I'm pleased to report that after observing him for the day they were happy for him to go home, but missing a day of housework means this place is a hovel! So, on to todays list

    Wednesday - Bathrooms
    Level One
    Clean toilets
    Empty bins
    Level Two
    Clear and mop floor
    Clean sink and bath/shower
    Level Three
    Wipe tiles
Wash bath mats. shower curtains, etc
    Clear and wipe windowsill

    my extras.
    Laundry, wash and put away
    Hoover through house
    Tidy and clean kitchen.
Working my butt off to buy the house of my dreams!

Haven't caught up with the thread yet, I'm on page 9 just past Pigpen's pic

Pigpen - Babe you have thousands of kids that clutter up the place, I'd be more worried if it looked like a show house!! I'd be thinking the kids were never allowed to do anything and wouldn't be very happy.

I have a visitor coming today  that's a rare event in its self but my visitor is an ex boyfriend from 20 years ago!! My first love :D The wonders of facebook hey :rotfl:
So of course I've been running aound trying to get the house into the "excuse the mess" stage ;)

DD's bedroom door shut :o can't shut mine cos DC1 is in there sleeping on the unmade bed :o:(

    Morning all,

I've been trying to work but the kitten does not like me sitting at my desk. He's fine if there's someone else to play with him but if it's just me here he hates it. He jumps onto my leg claws out & climbs up my body. Then he walks around my desk biting the wires. Earlier (after spending ages playing with him 1st) i tucked myself under the desk with my legs touching the underneath of the desk so there was no room for him to get on feeling smug. Instead he did a running jump and landed on my back instead.:eek::eek: I had to give up completely and go and play with him again. He's gone to sleep now thank god so i can get some work done.

    Hello all.

Teaandcakeaddict that sounds scary; I hope your DS is OK.

Wendywitch that's one of the reasons I'm not on Facebook - I so do not need someone from my past turning up out of the woodwork and wanting to make contact.:D

Mrs B don't be downhearted - just do what you can, and eventually it'll fall into place and you'll find a way that suits you. I do my own lists, and because I struggle to do a whole HHC, (health issues) I usually go for QHCs (Quarter Hour Challenges) and I still manage to shift things. One thing I do love is the Valli mantra - "Don't put it down, put it away". If you can get the whole household to follow that, it makes a big difference.;) The only trouble is, I get something out of a cupboard to use, go to another room, say the spare room for something out of the stores, or the loo or something, and come back to find that Mr LW has put the item I got out away.......:rotfl:

Anyways, Wednesday is Bathroom Day in the Wolf's Lair - one-handed still, but if I take my time, it'll get finished, eventually.;)

Here we go - the latest epic movie - Wolf vs the Limescale Monster.:rotfl:
If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)
