There aren't many skid marks in car vs car these days.

Really? I didnt realise they had got rid of physics these days

It worth noting that biikes have varying stopping abilities.
They do. Though research with drivers suggests that thinking time is relatively consistent across the population. (And at 30mph, we're talking 9m (30 ft) in thinking time. Compare that to the length of an HGV.).
Have you experienced many 20 mph zones? Plenty in Edinburgh
Usually I am overtaken or have someone ride on my tail. either in the car or bike.
How do you plan on enforcing the speed limits on bikes? Will speedos be fitted?
Speed guns? It's more a question of highlighting potential pinch-points and encouraging cyclists to slow down to give themselves more time to react in the event of a potential collision situation.
IMO barriers on corners are more of a herding device, than safety device for peds.
I have no problem with proper accident investigation. However all too often there are no witnesses to cyclists deaths.
No skid marks etc as in car vs car
I have a feeling this isn't so much the case in London. And it may well be that what happens in London (with pro-bike Boris) leads the way for remedial action in the rest of the country.

Physics has nothing to do with it, ABS does though.

Lol. So let me get this straight.
There are no skid marks in crashes because cars have ABS?
So if you get T boned at a junction. Your ABS stops skid marks being left from the sidewards forces? Impressive

Ah, you're in one of those moods again are you?

If a vehicle is pushed sideways are they skid marks in the context you were talking about?
It matters not as you will argue anyway. Are similar marks therefore not left when a bike is hit?
Something will hit the ground and leave physical evidence.

Just because you dont understand and went off on an ABS tangent, somehow its my mood?
No similar marks are not left by a bike
its either crushed under the car,or more likely thrown
Where it lands doesnt tell as much about the actual impact

its either crushed under the car,in that case it will leave a grind mark or more likely thrown and when it lands it comes into contact with the ground.

Your a collision investigator now are you?

Lol you really are determined to pick pick pick. Read it.
    Not as much information.
How much research do you think has been done into the physics of bikes and riders vs that of cars in impacts?

Cars with ABS still leave skid marks.
