Goodness, that is a hard question. Eclectic mix:cool::rotfl:
Colourful mixed with ubiqitous black, summer, linen trousers with pretty smock blouses or smart(ish) with nice cardi's and tops. Fitflops. Winter - lots of layers I feel the cold. Tunics and trousers, short skirts, leggings and boots, dresses with thick tights and ballet pumps. I love DM's, but for some reason have never owned any, I think OH would disown me if I bought some now, but don't say never........:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:The best thing about the future is that it comes one day at a time. I think I would best class my style as a compromise... I wouldn't dress quite the way I do if I was slim - limited to the shops I can buy from at my current size (16-18)
The one thing that wouldn't change is my love of colour - rarely wear black outside of exercise leggings, and like warm rich colours like teals, kingfishers, reds, corals etc.
At work I wear a lot of jersey dresses, often in bold prints - mainly because the fit and flare style hides a multitude of sins. Outside work wear jeans and pretty t shirts / tops for the most part.0 -
I don't really know how I would describe my style; a bit ecclectic I suppose. I am happy wearing a 50's style dress with tights and nice shoes (although I have a problem buying shoes because of my ridiculously wide yet short feet) and equally happy wearing jeans and a t-shirt. I have noticed that I'm trying to make more of an effort in my "casual" wear as I have recently moved to an area where people seem to wear designer gear to the supermarket!
Think my body scrub and moisturiser will be done by the end of the week!Emergency Fund - £8572.39 / £10,000 :: Mortgage OP 2025 - £LISA 24/25 - £3200 / £4000 :: NSD 2025 - 2 / 150 :: Books Read: 1 / 52 :: Decluttering - 4 / 1000Engaged 9th December 2010 :: Married 29th October 2015 :: Bought a House 13th January 20170 -
I have been a bad girl I have placed another order with REN. I promise to do better next month, the only things I'll need are body spray (unless I find some more somewhere) and some more Green Balm (its a total necessity and only a tiny bit left in my little pot). So those are the only things I'm allowed to buy next month.
I blame it on a horrid day at work.0 -
er thought I'd stumbled onto the clothes challenge(ok have now failed that one!) but realised it was todays ?
as a 57 year old I do not want to appear as mutton but don't want frumpy and have actually changed the shops I go to in recent years.thought i was on trend with phase 8 till DS2 said its an old ladies shop:eek::eek::eek: well I still love it:rotfl:

Have three uu today:
BS Moringa body butter - wba as it is lovely but no need for a long while yet.
Superdrug Brunette conditioner - WBA but this was being sold off last year as discontinued I think, it made my hair lovely and soft. Still have the intensive version in the stash.
Mitchum shower fresh deo - was ok but find roll ons more effective. Have replaced it with a vaseline aloe care from the stash.
My style is jeans and rugby tops/polo shirts for home, for evening it would be a dress, tights and boots or leggings and flats. I like vintage prints and am also a fan of Monsoon for their girly beading and embelishments.Debt Free and now a saver, conscious consumer, low waste lifestyler

Arggg!!:o sucumbed to the latest Body Shop ofer but couldn't resist - 2 x Big Bags worth £158 for £22 :T I know BS offers come and go but just couldn't resist this time. I haven't bought anything from the BS since Dec 2010 so thought I did ok and haven't bought any toiletries this month either so altogether not too bad (...I think!)Life is a coin, you can spend it anyway you wish, but you can only spend it once.
Go as far as you can see, and when you get there you'll see further.
Take time but don't waste time0 -

I don't seem to have a particular style at the moment just tend to buy what suits/fits. I love the Maxi dresses that are around at the momen, but can't wear them as only 5ft2 (in fact most maxi dresses in the shops are taller than me). I do wear jeans and vest tops quite a lot, as its quite practical with having 2 dogs. I tend to wear sleevless things a lot of the time as prefer not to have my arms covered and just add a Cardy or Jumper if I'm cold. I have been trying to get back into wearing dresses recently and have a couple of nice ones now for going out. I also used to love high heels and never wore flats, but unfortunately I haven't been able to wear heels for a few years now and just don't like flat shoes as much. I also tend to avoid wearing white again not very practicle with dogs. I was going to invest in a pair (or two) of Levis, but not currently happy with my weight and haven't made enough effort to get back to a size i feel happy at (I'm not really big just big for me, I used to be very very thin).0

Todays question: What would you class your "style" as?
Mine is probably just 'whatever'. Meaning whatever I can throw on at the last minute! My clothes have to be practical with my little 18 month old, and I don't get to go out in the evenings much these days. I'm slim (8-10) but short which isn't a good combination for clothes at the moment. Plus I'm skinter than a skint thing.
Our horrible neighbour is a similar age to me but really glam (she gets dressed up to go to the shop), so I hate seeing her saunter past in the mornings all pristine in her expensive clothes & accessories, while I'm struggling out of the house looking like the crazy cat lady from the Simpsons with my mini-me clinging to my leg.
No UUs from me, enjoying the sun even if I did get a bit burnt yesterday (very pale & freckly skin not good in this weather!)"Why, this is hell, nor am I out of it."0
