Well done on your weight loss evilsquid. I too have just got down to my 1 stone loss. Have been bad today though and had a Harry Ramsdens fish and chip lunch. Unfrotunately, Cheshire Oaks have done away with the big food court they had and now the only alternatives for lunch are Pizza Express, Wagamama, McDonalds, Harry Ramsdens or Spud u Like. Hardly any choice for something quick and tasty eh?

    well done to you too!

i also had harrys, we went to see Hugh Laurie tonight so stopped off there beforehand. i had a choice of kfc or harrys and i thought if i was going to be eating badly, id enjoy the chippy more!

Hi all, is it ok if I join in? I'm so glad I stumbled upon this thread. I'm drowning in my sea of toiletries and really need to use some stuff up before I buy any more. I've started taking an inventory of everything I've got but it's going to take some time unfortunately. I seem to go mad stocking up whenever I see a 3 for 2 offer or somesuch. I've already bought some Clinique goodies this month (another irresistible offer in Boots lol). But I want to go cold turkey from here on in. I'll post my inventory when I've got everything down. Any top tips for a newbie?

I look forward to getting to you know you all,

    Cheers!

I'm defo back in for July, I let things slide in June so wasn't around much and I want to get back on track :)

    UU for July
Sanctuary Shower Mousse WNBA I don't think this is anything special so wouldn't go out of my way to re-purchase

I've started getting my package ready for my sun swap buddy, so I'll have some outs there, not till the end of the week when I post it though :D

Welcome to Pippin, you will find us a helpful and friendly little group, well done for doing your list, with skin care and makeup I would say use the oldest first as so many things do go off and end up being thrown away, but not so sure about haircare as it has only been a minor stash item for me. I am sure others will offer advice, but for the moment I would say collect together all the opened items and evaluate which work well for you and decide on an order to use them. Stuff that you don't like anymore can be re-purposed, conditioner as a shaving cream and as a pre shampoo treatment and shampoo as handwash, cleaning your makeup and hair brushes, bath and basin cleaners, and possibly to wash woollens, I often do this to save buying expensive wool wash. To make my expensive shampoo last longer I have been using the samples and travel sizes as a first shampoo and the good stuff as second, I hope to graduate on the hair care soon:j

The more I join in on here, the easier I find it to resist all the special offers and filling up "shopping carts" to save postage, it is not a bargain if I don't need it:(

    Morning All

I have got July off to a good start with some UU and some Ta's:

Boots Botanics Clay Mask - WNBA, this dries really hard and takes too much effort to get off, also saw no improvement from using it.

Vaseline Cocoa Butter Vitalising Gel Oil, have chucked this out, DH stopped me throwing it the other week and I tried using it on the kids and on myself again but it just doesn't absorb and it is really oily and I was just slipping and sliding about, life is too short to suffer using something that cost less than £2.

Lacura Body Moisturiser for Dry Skin - TA - this has the consistency of PVA glue and just doesn't move on the skin, it doesn't absorb either. Again this was less than £2 so not worth the hassle, it's 500ml too so it would go on forever. The normal skin version by the way is lovely.

Crabtree & Evelyn La Source shampoo, this was a little hotel freebie with just one use left. Lovely shampoo.

Body Shop Oatmeal and Honey face mask, GA to my friend's teenage daughter, this is for dry skin and I have combination.

E.L.F Smokey Eyes Pallette - TA, the fallout from these shadows is awful, I have tried a few of their products and not liked any so far.

morning all, well i got through the weekend without sheding a single tear(first one in a month or more!) tho it was a bit like walking on eggshells at times:rotfl:we did go dancing in the end which I enjoyed as usual being held in a romantic hold for a tango caused a few of the oldies to give us a few looks:rotfl:only annoying thing was this old man who just at the end of the night(10.30) came to tell us his life story(again) and we only managed to escape when the bar maid took pity on us and called him over at 11.20:eek::eek::eek::eek:...ok for him as no work today.DH had said he didn't want to go at first as had a busy week so I was quite annoyed but he seemed not to mind!!!

Occitane order just arrived:)I love the way they pack things in such pretty boxes.so ins are as follows(sorry I needed the reatil therapy!)

creeme radieuse hydration cream(as in the LIB box...expensive but got a free cleaner in a nice pump bottle worth £16)
1 bath ball down from £4:eek:far too much to £1
a sample cream mask and after shave(for DH)
a make up bag( theirs are so pretty) with bonne mere soap(I know I don't need anymore soap!)a lavender body lotion, rose hand cream, shea butter shower gel,and an eye balm(half price for the bag and contents at £12.50 so "saved" a total of £28.50 and free post.
am I alone in getting so much pleasure out of buying the stuff??!!!!

btw it is now raining (again:()

Hoping for quite a few UU this week, lots of splutterers at the moment.

Rosemary - shopping cheers me up to, but as I'm trying to cut my spending, I'm having to resort to eating chocolate. Home life ok, but work really getting me down. Hope things improve for you.
