one UU - Olay moisturiser (the one for 30somethings) WIBA? probably - was alternating this with the tesco cucumber moisturiser, and certainally prefer it to that - but I might try the one with the hint of foundation in next (spotted that on offer at 9.99 in Mr Ts, so while they are doing their 5p petrol thing, might get some moisturiser to stop me making the £50 up with Ben and Jerrys...) still searching for my HG moisturiser.
oh - and anyone interested in my skin/spot saga - 5 days into using pears soap and its pretty much clear - yay for soap and water !!!!!
Rosemary - I know what you need - you need a nice escort who can take you to things like the dancing and out for dinners when your D(?)H doesnt want to or is working.... (Id offer to loan you Sam,but as mr "i want to come home to be nearer family and you" hasnt bothered to see me since hes been back (thoug to be fair, its only been a week and i know hes been busy-still wasnt nice being passed up for a pub quiz with his mates last night though!) I dont know that hed be much use for you...) Huge hug - go buy yourself something from Pabo (70% sale ends today (dont google if you are faint-hearted girls !) and next time tell him hes not allowed to bed till you are finished
xxxDo not meddle in the affairs of dragons, for you are crunchy and taste good with ketchup0 -
I found my hand cream, this should be used up very soon. I have added it to my earlier post listing my targeted UU for the month. Not planning on doing much today, will try and use a face mask though.
Welcome to the newbies, hugs to rosemary, scrappie best wishes to your mum, and hugs to everyone else who needs them.0 -
Am I allowed to buy Red (if I can find one) just for the REN stuff?
I may be tempted although I am bearing in mind the Balance Me in Glamour. I have decided magazing freebies are ok if they are something I would use/want to try. I have not bought the Marie Claire with the Ciate nv or the other mag that has the LD nv at the moment so I think selectiveness is ok as it is a MSE way to try new things.
Welcome organizingmylife and Blue Elephant - this is a lovely thread.
Also, I have my first UU of the month. I am aiming for 14 UUs this month based on what I think will be finished by the end of the month. Last month I thought 17 but managed 22 so we shall see how July goes.
Philosophy amazing Grace perfume oil - I love this fragrance but wouldn't buy in this format again. It was ok but a bit of a faff having a roller ball applicator and it seemed to take ages to dry. Using it took me back to my school days when I used to buy a Miners lipgloss which was a roller ball application (and used to be advertised in Jackie magazine!!).
Happy Sunday everyone - I am staying away from the Q to avoid temptation!
BTW - does anyone know how to edit the thread title - have just spotted my appalling spelling mistake - in my eagerness to get July started I have failed to spell unnecessary correctly??0 -
I've just put in an order in the illamasqua sale so I'm off the wagon already. I was thinking of something to buy myself as a treat with my first proper pay cheque and that was all I could come up with or wanted. at least I've bought things I've wanted for ages and some of it is under half price. it's also my joint treat for loosing a stone.0

I'm in again for this month. And starting it off with a UU:
John Frieda brilliant brunette enhancing shampoo - WIBA - yes if it's on offer, I managed to get this when it was reduced and 3for2 so worked out a really good deal. I didn't like it it and first but it really grew on me and I really like it now.
And one little cheapy IN - 2 packs of Primark facial wipes for £1. I remember someone mentioning them on here and I have a few weekends away this month so thought these might be useful.
Big hugs, chocolate and a large glass of wine to all those who need them right now xx0 -
1st July and 1 purchase already (not a good start..)
Cranberry and cinnamon bath soak as it is chilly here and I will have a warm-up bath tonight using this!!!0 -
Good afternoon!
Thank you to Kiplingmonkey for starting us off *smiles*
Thank you for all the birthday wishes after my last thank you (IYSWIM :rotfl:) You're such a lovely lot(Quite seriously, I love checking in here everyday and it always cheers me up, so the many happy birthdays were really appreciated :A)
Welcome to the newbies! You've stumbled onto the nicest forum in the worldBest of luck getting your stash sorted. Making a list was the most useful thing for me, though I did panic at one point as I had so much stuff
I only managed 6 UUs in JuneIt was because I needed a more free-wheeling month and so started on some bigger things. (I shopped my stash as a treat
) It was also a low UU month because my skin flared up so I had to return to tried and tested gentle skincare. This month I will concentrate on using things up in a more focussed way.
First UU of the month:
68. L’Occitane Pivoine Flora Beauty Milk (75ml) - very nice to try but WNBA as it isn't my favourite L'Occitane scent. (I prefer Verbena)
Glamour are giving away a bottle of perfume a day this month. Good luck everyone!

Pootle - a Cranberry and Cinnamon bath sounds lovely - very festive.
Trudij - very interested to hear about your success with Pears, love this soap but haven't used soap on my face for years which is funny because as a teenager I did use soap and water and never had spots. Now i use all manner of fancy stuff and have breakouts far too regularly.
When I was a teenager I also used to make my own face mask using fullers earth powder mixed with water and witch hazel. Very cheap and seemingly effective.
Welcome Newbies - have fun using up your stash.Debt Free and now a saver, conscious consumer, low waste lifestyler

Edit: Forgot to say thank you to Kiplingmonkey for starting us off. KM, I don't think you can edit the title. It's clear it is a typo rather than bad spelling, if that helps!
You got that bit right, but the mnemonic I use for teaching how to spell 'necessary' is 'One collar (c) and two sleeves (s's) are necessary on a shirt' .
Welcome to all newbies! I love it when I read about people employing PRCP. It gives me a massive buzz when I think 'I thought up that'!
All my PRCP products that were stashed are used up now, except for the chocolate truffle body souffle I bought the other week.
I won't quite have a no-spend month as I've got Avon on order, but most of the order is birthday gifts. However I succumbed to the Argan oil hair treatment spray, hope that doesn't sell out as it was sooo cheap; I got one for DD & one for myself.
Opened the second of my shower gel trial bottles this morning. This one hasn't got anything natural in, but it was fine. This particular shower gel does have one feature that would make me buy it but I won't say anything more until I've done my official report.
I have two or three more trials on the way, not sure about the third as I completed it, was accepted, etc, then the last page was a page saying, 'Sorry, you don't fit the profile /we have enough'. As it happens, it wasn't a very exciting product, so I'm not too bothered.
The others are laundry -related, good thing as I am trying to save some pennies with short break due and work quite quiet. TG I have my additional contract within the job to start in August. It is with another fast food company, I am starting to view their ads quite fondly now! The current ad is clever but doesn't link well to the product imo.
Enuff waffle.
Rosemary, hugs. Trudi, why not grate the soap stash and make laundry gloop? The Gloopy Thread has instructions. My profuse apologies if I suggested this before & you explained why it was a no-no.Erma Bombeck, American writer: "If I had my life to live over again... I would have burned the pink candle, sculptured like a rose, that melted in storage." Don't keep things 'for best' - that day never comes. Use them and enjoy them now.0
