Not been "officially" on this thread for a few months. Would like to join in for July, please.

While I've been away, I have been fairly good at not buying.

I'd already got enough nail polish to probably never need to buy any again (last purchase was in February).

Night cream is under control - I don't even have one lined up for when current one is finished up as that was only opened in the last couple of days.

Seasidedreamer good luck for starting new job tomorrow.

Scrappie, good call keeping the Elemis, and hopefully the bath elixir will be a lovely treat for your mum when treatment finishes.

Emsjune, enjoy shopping your stash for your holiday goodies,I am going to do that this week for my August holibobs.

Ilovecakes, thanks for the info on AlphaH, I was wondering about trying this,(about June next year) when I have used up my Elemis Tri-Enzyme face wash, which I use 2 or 3 times a week.

Trudij, great news about the Pears soap. OT, but how are Red and Grape getting on, dothey share a field?

Hi and welcome to all newbies, lovely crowd here.

First UU for July - ElemisPro radiance cream cleanser. 150ml. WBA. Have 2 in stock in readiness

    Planned purchases for July:-
I will need to buy hand wash and facial wipes and will look for the Balance Me from Glamour, but can eke the Toner out until after holiday.

I would really like a new pc or i-pad, although I could goand get one, I would quite like to have saved some money towards it, ratherthan attack the savings account, so I must be strong:D

Hello all! Thanks kiplingmonkey for starting the thread.

    As I said last month, I'm doing fairly well with getting through my stash. This month, I will aim to use up;

    S&G clarity face wash
    OPI avoplex hand cream
    Liz Earle lip balm 5g
    Liz Earle toner 50ml
    Avon nail grow potion
    Loccitane cuticle cream
    SBC collagen gel

If i can use these up in July, I will be very happy. Went to s lovely wedding yesterday, and my eBay dress covered the bruise on my leg...happy days! I bought a new pair of killer heels for the occasion, and I am happy to report that my feet survived vey well :) xxx
    All you need is less
  • I don't plan on buying anything this month but I know i will have some ins as I am participating in 3 different gift exchanges. I think instead of listing my entire beauty stash in the body of the reply, i will upload a google doc as it won't take up any room

    Super sunday on the Q

Elemis, ABC, Perfect Formula, Ojon, New Cid and Yankee Candles!! 3 TSV's per hr, all day....................................

Not that I'm trying to tempt anyone:o

:wave:Hello to Blue Elephant and OrganisingMyLife. Hope you have fun on here, we're a nice bunch. Get your stash list up when you have time so we can all have a nosey!

Catriona - good luck for Tuesday. Just think, you can spend Wednesday relaxing with NOTHING to do - you deserve it.

Valm - I will be keeping the TSV. The posh bath elixer that's in there, I will be giving to mum when she has finished radiotherapy and can use skincare again. A little celebration of 'treatment complete'. I also think there is a pro-radience cleanser too - so will take that on my hols in winter.

Rosemary -smile hunny!! Sometimes I think it would be nice if we all lived close by, so we could pop round with cake on days like this. Sending you hugs. Go and do something nice for yourself today.

    Happy Sunday everyone:)
I could so go for that!

one UU - Olay moisturiser (the one for 30somethings) WIBA? probably - was alternating this with the tesco cucumber moisturiser, and certainally prefer it to that - but I might try the one with the hint of foundation in next (spotted that on offer at 9.99 in Mr Ts, so while they are doing their 5p petrol thing, might get some moisturiser to stop me making the £50 up with Ben and Jerrys...) still searching for my HG moisturiser.

oh - and anyone interested in my skin/spot saga - 5 days into using pears soap and its pretty much clear - yay for soap and water !!!!! :D

Rosemary - I know what you need - you need a nice escort who can take you to things like the dancing and out for dinners when your D(?)H doesnt want to or is working.... (Id offer to loan you Sam,but as mr "i want to come home to be nearer family and you" hasnt bothered to see me since hes been back (thoug to be fair, its only been a week and i know hes been busy-still wasnt nice being passed up for a pub quiz with his mates last night though!) I dont know that hed be much use for you...) Huge hug - go buy yourself something from Pabo (70% sale ends today (dont google if you are faint-hearted girls !) and next time tell him hes not allowed to bed till you are finished ;)

OMG just googles Pabo:eek:will take a closer look when he is away......do spanish fly drops work???????????????????????????

First day of cold turkey but I have remembered that Glamour are doing the Balance me stuff with the mag this month (I think) so I will see how I feel when it comes out.

Valm - hope you have a good day at Cheshire Oaks.

Good luck with your cold turkey treatment dolly84. Am rooting for you! x

The reason for the visit to Cheshire Oaks was to return an Ice watch that we bought for Emma from there about 8 months ago. The casing had cracked and the back and caused the back to fall off. Not a nice experience as the SA was particularly rude claiming that the watch looked worn and alledging that Emma had prized the back off it herself. Not a good move with MrM who got very annoyed. They have agreed to return it to Ice for us. Horrible shop. Will not repurchase from there.

Otherwise, didn't get any clothes. Didn't see anything that grabbed me but did purchase from TBS and L'occitane. I did have a look through my stash before I went because I really wanted to find that pot of LE Superbalm but who knows where it's gone. Did an inventory and split the drawers up into shiower gels (of which I still have loads) in one and body lotions and facial skincare in the other. I only had one TBS Rose body buitter and one small Boots Extracts Bergamot body butter left. I do however have 4 x 35ml bottles of Elemis Frangipani Monoi oil which I need to ebay!

So in TBS I picked up a pack of 3 x 200ml body butters (Almond, Blueberry and Papaya) including a shower lily for £15.30.

In L'Occitane I bought a bottle of Badian EDT for MrM and a handbag sized shea butter for me for my cuticles. So not bad but I could have bought loads in the L'Occitane shop. The sale was fabulous.

L'Occitane also gave me some samples :-

2 x 8 ml sachets of shampoo and conditionrer
2 x 1ml sachets of Ultra Comforting Cream
    1 x 1ml sachet of Verdon moisturiser (men's range).

Considered I was very good as I also had a UU of my L'Occitane lavender hand cream and did not replace it - have a LE one in my stash to put in my handbag and have taken a half empty bottle of Molten Brown White Mulberry hand lotion to keep on my desk at work. Tried some of the other hand creams in store and was disappointed that most of them were the same consistency as the original shea butter one.
Start a new job tomorrow and going to try and remember to wear makeup most days because that stash is never ending and barely used!

    Good luck for tomorrow. x

Don't blame you scrappie. They are worth keeping if you can gift them.

Part one of a BIG reply :rotfl:

:T:T:T Ruby Eskimo :T:T:T for officially graduating. That was so kind of you to give your toiletries to patients :) Good luck with your make up UU plan

:T:T:T VALM :T:T:T for her no spend June :)
Sorry to hear you had such an awful chain of events the other day  I hope that your visit to Cheshire Oaks makes up for it :j

Scrappie - I only just feel like I've woken up properly but I'm doing pretty well considering that I went out :D All the best to your Mum on Monday. I would just enjoy your Elemis IN ;) I'm amazed that you planted up so many baskets and tubs in one day! :T

Moromir - that's a great amount of make up UUs! :T I'm close to finishing two make up things but it takes ages...:rotfl:

Trudij - I can understand why you've been here for 2 1/2 years (because of the company, not because you had the most enormous stash! :rotfl:) I hope that your beautiful horses are bringing you joy :D

    Blue Elephant
    - here's a proper hello! I have embraced And's (mcculloch29) PRCP as well :) I seem to have settled into using one oldest and one newest thing in each category (I alternate between them). This way I'm working my way through my old stash but experiencing the excitement of using New(ish) Things as well :)

SuiDreams - you're so organised! Your targeted list seems to be working really well for you. Well done for a great June! :) (I will probably buy Red this month for the REN goodies :D)

Tokkiandoliver - Good luck with graduating this month! What amazingly fast progress! :T:T (:rotfl:to the mysterious boxes of things under your bed :rotfl:)

    Hi VALM,

I only started using the Liquid Gold this week but it has made my skin really soft and seems to have smoothed out a few of the very fine lines around my nose and some pigmentation I had from having acne as a teenager appears to be fading. I think it is for all skin types but particularly useful for people with acne scarring and anti ageing concerns - its just a chemical exfoliator so encouraged skin renewal (I think). I read about it on Beauty Mouth (a blog I am addicted to).

I have never watched QVC but I got it from their website because the eye cream came free (am also impressed with this).

Thanks for your post. Funnily enough after posting this am I turned on the QVC Beauty Channel and the product of the month is Liquid Gold. The therapist Tom confirmed that it's an exfoliator and the types of skin it can treat. At the moment I'd say that my Decleor Herbal face mask is doing the same job but I wouldn't mind trying this product when I have run out of that. Will pop it on my list.
I've just put in an order in the illamasqua sale so I'm off the wagon already. I was thinking of something to buy myself as a treat with my first proper pay cheque and that was all I could come up with or wanted. at least I've bought things I've wanted for ages and some of it is under half price. it's also my joint treat for loosing a stone.

Well done on your weight loss evilsquid. I too have just got down to my 1 stone loss. Have been bad today though and had a Harry Ramsdens fish and chip lunch. Unfrotunately, Cheshire Oaks have done away with the big food court they had and now the only alternatives for lunch are Pizza Express, Wagamama, McDonalds, Harry Ramsdens or Spud u Like. Hardly any choice for something quick and tasty eh?

1st July and 1 purchase already (not a good start..)

Cranberry and cinnamon bath soak as it is chilly here and I will have a warm-up bath tonight using this!!!

Me too but I don't blame you wanting to use fragrances that make you feel cosey. That's why I bought the almond body butter today as I intend to use it with my Philosophy Vanilla Frosting shower gel. I smelt a gorgeous Cinnamon and Orange L'Occitane soap today but unfortunately it was not available for me to buy individually - the offer was to buy 6 at a time. As I still have 2 x L'Occitane Verbena soaps in my stash that have probably gone off I thought it better not to.

Glad all went well yesterday with your dress and shoes. Lucky you. I bought a new pair last week and after one day my feet were so sore. Will be going out tomorrow covered in and armed in extra plasters. x
