    Hi all!

    :wave:welcome to pippin and caterina.

    I personally like to save up £1 every time I uu a produce - have a 'nice little earner' going on in my jar - with no signs of a drought any time soon!!

    As far as posting a stash list goes - there is no 'rule' to say you have to do it. But, I do think it helps to see the hard reality of the situation (if you are really serious about trying to get it under control). For me anyway, it makes it more 'real'. No need to feel intimidated about posting here - we are all in the same situation. Afterall I have in excess of 50 shower gels to use up - so am in no position to be 'telling anyone off':o The most you will get from us lot is questions about how good/bad a produce on your list is that we want to try/ have not seen before!!! Please, don't worry - but no pressure, do what you feel is right for you!

    Rosemary
    - nice to hear that D(?)H gave in and took you dancing - hope that you had a lovely time!

    am I alone in getting so much pleasure out of buying the stuff??!!!!
    Not at all:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

    lynseydee - made me laugh that you had to do two posts!!

    It would really help me if they didin't put toiletries and cosmetics in should pretty packages. I have a ridiculus number of items in my stash that I bought on impulse just because they looked pretty.
    SuiDreams - so it's not just me:D

    Have just been out for lunch with my aunty and my nan, am totally stuffed now. Off for a little sleep on the sofa. Got 2hrs sleep last night - mum was in for her biopsy this morning, and I was at the GP. Combo of both kept me awake 'till gone four, then I woke again at 6am:eek::eek::eek: I'm soooooo tired now.

    Feel sure htat I uu something this am, but for the life of me can't remember - will go and look in the bin, see if I recognise a container!!

    Oh, almost forgot. £20 in my pot for not buying anything off the Q yesterday. I usually put in £5 for every TSV I DON'T buy. I know there were more than 4 beauty TSV's, but honestly, only had £20 in my purse, so that will just have to do in this weather - I'm not going out for more!!! That jar is getting full though - should be a nice little ammount there ready for my hols in Sept!

    Forgot ot add - the summer sun swap

    is there any way to find out the 'screen name' of our buddy? I know her real name and address, but thought if I knew who she 'really' was then I could look back at the tread and see what she's commented on, likes/dislikes etc??? Just a thought....

    Thank you Scrappie, it is not that I am embarrassed, more that I just can't be bothered to inventory the contents of my bathroom, I thought it was going to be a requirement to join. Now that I know it is not, I am happy to join and get inspired here!
    Finally I'm an OAP and can travel free (in London at least!).

    Welcome, Caterina :wave:

    I was going to say the same as Moromir - whatever works best for you. I hope that we can help cheer up your summer :)

    lynseydee - that is an amazing stash list! It must have taken you ages to do. (I reckon my list is a similar size :eek: ) Best of luck :beer:

    Rosemary - my L'Occitane birthday parcel came today and it was very exciting getting it in the lovely box (Suidreams - you're so right about the pretty packaging downfall! :rotfl:). I'm a bit disappointed with my Verbena perfume. If I had tried it in the shop I probably would have bought something else. Hopefully I'll grow into it! :rotfl: (Sometimes things like this become my favourite thing after a while, so I'm hopeful :rotfl:)

    Official INS (though I'm counting them as June as they were for my b'day and I'm considering an in-free July :eek:):

    Sun Verbena perfume (100ml)
    Rose 4 Reines solid perfume (10g - I love this :))
    Ultra Rich Body Cream - Apricot Flower (100ml x 2) - very nice :) (A true body butter rather than a cream, I think)
    Ultra Rich Body Cream - Vineyard Rose (100ml) - not a very strong scent
    Divine Eyes sachet (1ml)
    Divine Extract serum (1ml)
    Lovely box & L'Occitane sticker! :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

    Hello Scrappie! Well done for resisting all the TSV's :T:T:T

    I agree about the list being a helpful reality check. I really needed it :rotfl: I find it fascinating what works for different personality types. I definitely have to be kept aware/see my stash in order to remember to use it. It's horrible that it makes my room look so untidy but it's the only way for me :o (It also means that when things go it's a relief to declutter a little more, even though it's going to take for-e-ver!)

    I'm sorry to hear that you didn't sleep. It's not surprising (((hugs))) Can you have a nap now? (I didn't sleep at all last night but finally crashed at lunchtime until 4.30pm. I think I've picked up a bug and that causes havoc with the M.E. :()

    Anyhow. Sending you (((hugs))). It's going to be so exciting when you count up your saved money for your hols :j

    Welcome all lovely newbies :wave: This is a really friendly thread, I hope you stick around for a while and you'll see that its a really warm place to visit. It also makes it fun to keep in check your spending/accumulation of products instead of a chore (mostly :D).

    Thanks for the heads up re: the Balance Me products in the new Glamour, I think that was Kiplingmonkey. I'll be looking to get my hands on one or two of these for hols I think.

    VALM sorry to hear about your rubbish customer service experience at Cheshire Oaks! Soo annoying when you're treated that way - tbh though I think to a certain extent, I for one, expect poor service as that seems to be the norm (?!) and then when you do get good service its a lovely surprise! Had a problem recently with a very well known department store and a missing pair of shoes and separately a damaged bag - was fair to say good customer service was very much lacking in both instances! Have you been to the Colosseum at the front of Cheshire Oaks where the cinema etc is? There's loads more places to eat on there, although it does mean parking up again really.

    I'm going to edit and update my stash list tonight so will be posting that later (I need my tea first, holiday diet is taking priority at the moment - going to have first weigh in in the morning, fingers crossed!!) - have already had a couple of UU and IN to get the ball rolling for July:

    UU - Christy Feet Treat exfoliating scrub sachet - WNBA - nothing to write home about, I do need to get my feet 'sandal-ready' for holiday though so will be using something similar whenever I remember, I think I've a tube of an M&S foot scrub and possibly also a Next one knocking around that I'll dig out and leave by the shower.

    IN - Maybelline Dream Fresh BB cream sachet x 3 - arrived in post today, they've sent the Light shade so hopefully this will be ok as other brand samples have been very dark, will give it a whirl. Again, if its any good, could be a purchase for hols.
