Just checking in after a long day shopping with the girls;)

I have a UU - can't remember the name now but it was a strawberry body lotion from Mr B - think it came in a natural collection gift set at least a couple of Xmas's ago.....

    and a couple of In's -

    and

    http://www.boots.com/en/Botanics-Ultra-Calm-Skin-Relief-Serum-30ml_1261985/

I've bought them both now as they were on offer and I've neither of these products in my stash when I run out of the ones in use and both are at least half empty:)

Oh and I also got this as it was on offer in SD:-

    http://www.boots.com/en/VO5-Plump-Me-Up-Dry-Shampoo-200ml_1262113/

my HG is Batiste tropical but this was on offer for £1.69 so I had to give it a go.........I go through dry shampoo at a fair rate ;)

hope everyone is having a great weekend

Hi! Just to say if anyone else is tempted by the Cheap Beauty Deals in this week's email - dont bother with one of the Glamour magazine's freebies - balance Me Rose otto intensive lip salve. :(

I bought the mag to try the lip salve - as I like rose scented stuff - and it is horrible - its going straight in the bin. Second ingredient on the list on the back is "ricinus communis (castor) oil" and boy does it taste like it!!!

Really revolting - had to wipe it off my lips instantly. Don't know if anyone out there like this - but I hated it! Only glad it came free with a £2 mag - and that I hadn't splashed out lots of cash on it...
Real shame as I wanted to find a petroleum free lip salve....but it isn't going to be this one!!!!!
    Be warned......:money:

My Benefit Lip thing is Rose flavoured, and its amazing. I got mine from ebay for about £7 I think (its way more than that in the shops) and I can honestly say my lips are brilliant with it.

been away for a few days (not away away, just not online) so hugs to everyone who needs them, and to anyone who would just like one ;) hope everyone is well.

Picked my Sunshine swap up yesterday morning (missed the postman the day before) and its AMAZING - really cant thank my swappee enough, its all gorgeous and i cant wait to try it all out

Grape is doing brilliantly, hopefully she can have the bandage off on Monday, and then be turned out (all being well) on Wednesday - and Red is getting bigger and bigger - shes not the same size as she was this time last year - but thats no bad thing I hope !!

happy rest of the weekend people, Im on call but halfway through with nothing extra yet... :D

Nails sound , Steel Appeal and PMW are on my to be seen IRl/possibly acquired list. PMNF with OPI A Rose by Dawn broke by noon, , looks pretty on (not really a pink girl) but shows the vertical ridges quite badly. Did Nailtiques for 7 days and was gasping for some colour, will take it off tomorrow and back to Nailtiques for another week.

I hope your shopping trip works out. No, did not get L'Occitane hand wash, will wait until month over and either grap a "bundle" on-line or just buy singely in town, now I know there is a stockist here.

Have a good, hopefully dry weekend everyone. Got home about 7pm yesterday and OH and I sat in car on drive for 10 minutes while a cloud burst and thunder storm took place:eek::eek::eek::eek:

I can never get photos to attach on MSE so can't take a piccy for you maddiemay but I'm really pleased with how they look. No chipping still so far so they could be a keeper for the rest of the week!

Shopping trip was good yesterday. Didn't get anything in the M&S sale but did pick up a swimsuit from BHS which was reduced. It seems that everyone in my area is a size 16 as there was very little left in either store in my size. Got the cropped pants from Primark as well.

Was very good in Boots and only bought what I wanted. Went into WH Smith and was umming and aaahing over the copy of Elle with St Tropez moisturiser but didn't bother in the end.

The weather here was lovely yesterday. We had a few spots of rain at about 3.00pm but that was it. Did turn very cool in the evening though and I had to resort to wearing the slanket again.

When we did our food shop in Sainsbury's yesterday am they had loads of BBQ accessories for sale. MrM bought a sausage turner for £3.00 which he was impressed with! Wonder if we'll remember we have it next year!

    Hi Ladies.

A few more uu to report, I am really on a roll at the moment:

M&S Per Una EDT and Per Una Body spray - WBA, nice fragrance and a good price. Moving onto an already opened Chloe Narcisse.

Have been round the charity shops today looking for a tennis racket for my DS and one of them had S&G Clean Girls in a full size, Mist you Madley Spray and The Daily Smooth, all full size and £1.50 each. It made me chuckle. BTW I didn't buy them.

Did buy a brand new Visconti leather purse for £1,had a look online and this one seems to be £28.99. Wow, I am very pleased. Had no idea about the full price I just liked it.

I love Chloe Narcisse - must buy another bottle at some stage. The fragrance reminds me of my holidays in Orlando.

I had a mooch around our newest charity shop yesterday. Like you I saw some Mandara Spa items on sale but didn't buy. Was on the look out for a good book for my holidays but didn't see anything that grabbed me. I fancy reading either Abraham Lincoln Vampire Hunter, the new Karin Slaughter or a new No. 1 Ladies Detective Agency if there is one (the last that I read was the Double Comfort Safari Club). Got a voucher from WH Smith yesterday for half price book from Richard & Judy Summer Book Club but not sure I fancy any of them. Any recommendations? But please not Fifty Shades of Grey!

Well done on your purse purchase though. I love a good CS bargain!

And-thank you for reminding me, I wanted to order the breast cancer pin from Avon. I don't even have a flick through the brochures anymore! :T I might have a look out for an eyeliner which I use everyday and want to get another of. Knowing my luck it has been discontinued!

I don't have a rep anymore. Our local rep asked for people to confirm whether they wanted the brocures or not so I told her not. It's not very often I purchase from them anyway. I think it's more to do with the accessibility now in that when I want something I don't want to have to wait for the order to arrive IYSWIM.
Back for the No Buying Toiletries challenge. I pledge to only buy when I run out of a product that is not already in my stash no matter what wonderful emails land in in my Inbox or threads I read on MSE re: glitches!

I had one of their lip salves in the Christmas kit I got and it was horrible. I remember it went off before I had used very much of it.

You've reminded me that my Carmex is spluttering. Have a very thin rim of it around the pot to get out. Emma kindly donated a lip balm to me yesterday as she says she has tons of them. Gave me a M&S Pomegranate one so am not declaring this as an IN as it was free (to me now although I did buy it originally).

Have a great day everyone. It's Beauty Day on QVC. Nothing being aired that grabs me so feel safe to watch whilst doing the ironing. x

Lovely and sunny here today. Yesterday in CS I managed to walk away from a brand new BS Hemp Handcream at £2.50 and a Neals Yard Perfume spray at £8.50, so gave myself a little mental pat on the back:j

watching bits of Q** beauty day whilst tidying, but being good, but only really want to see the LD show this evening, he makes me laugh and his polishes are great on my really ridged nails, BUT I wish he was not quite so orange, I know he sells the stuff but....

Have a great day, hugs to all that need them and for those working, hope you get an easy one.

I had a UU last night, TBS coconut body butter WIBA?: I much prefer my sanctuary souffle as it took me a while to get used to the thick texture of this. It really is like smearing butter all over yourself! Having said that, I have more in the drawer and I will happily open one of them up to use. So, WIBA? Yes, if available at that sort of offer again :)
It's 4 weeks today that we go to Florida. I was just having a little look at what to buy and meandering around the bath and body works website. Tbh, I think I'll steer clear as it doesn't look that cheap to me. Hope evryone's well? I'm off to cub Olympics later on this afternoon, helping out but I'm not sure what I'll be doing and am just hoping it doesn't rain too hard!

Eta: I'm coveting some of the mua eyeshadows but have some more to UU before I need any. Interestingly enough, the bb cream I've been using has made a massive difference to my eyeshadow. It makes it really stand out and it lasts all day or night which is marvelmouse!

  • well done itzy for UU an eyeshadow! Those take forever to finish.

Happy Sunday everyone. I can smell the roast and feel very relaxed today. I have the next two days off of my day job, so I'm going to spend a lot of pampering me time.

UU: Feria blue black hair dye. I had to upgrade from my usual £land hair dye as I could tell it was effecting my hair. I like this and really going to try to find some vouchers for this product again.

Another UU: some cheapie lavender soap given to me by a co worker, I used it for many different purchases and I'm glad I'm done as I'm really going off the scent of Lavender now.
