Well I had the fantastic idea of making up a little beauty box as a little stocking filler for my niece (who is living abroad) for Christmas. I had already gotten her a couple of lip glosses she liked and she's always complaining about how expensive stuff is over there so seemed a good idea. I've just bought Marie Claire for the Mascara for her, I gave her one out of my stash when she was home at Easter so she will need another one by Christmas. I then bought her the Balance Me face Wash and moisturiser from glamour. Now this is where I failed, I ended up buying another copy with the face wash for myself. I was doing so well and said I wouldn't buy myself this.

    Off to the naughty step.

So, my INs since I last posted are very boring really! Just a 4 pack of NV from primark. £2 for 4 little bottles. It needs several coats in order to ok good but that's fine because it wil UU the bottles much quicker so they don't go gloopy and I don't get bored.

I'm going to have a Friday night pamper session tonight, anyone else care to join me?

Weighed myself this morning. Shocked to see I'm down to 8st10. Not od, as I'm 5ft9. It's work, it's so flaming busy and such hard work that we are all just using up so many calories in a shift . I can't eat loads, I don't have a huge appetite and I'm obviously not managing to keep my calorie intake as high as my calorie UU. I am having pizza tonight :D. I do want to avoid the bloated tumy that can come with bulking up though. Not a good look for swimsuit or bikini wear is it?

I'm sure Emma will love the kit. Tonight I've used the colour of minnie and the nothin mousie 'bout it glitter. These two together look really pretty. The hearts were a pain to apply but worth it for the effect I think. Since I had to apply a large portion of the hearts individually I am wondering if tiny glitter shapes such as these can be bought out of polish and applied to a wet layer of varnish, this would be easier than having to dig them out of the polish to apply. The pink/purple glitter in this polish is gorgeous though so am still glad I bought it.

Naughty lena white for tempting you, stay strong.

Thanks for that marie2. I'm sure she will love it too. Will try to forget the Lena White offer. I had a mini kit from Sephora for Christmas and have really enjoyed trying the different colours and this is what the appeal is however I've seen the colours in the kit previously and not been impressed enough to buy them so this should put me off surely?

Fell off the wagon today - ordered a Philosophy microdelivery kit form the Q. I use the microdelivery wash every day in the shower, and it it spluttering. No more in my stash. So jusy could not resist.

    I am weak.........

    Hope everyone is OK.

Nothing weak about it though if it's something you use every day and had none left.

I'm still on the wagon, despite the special offers flying around  I can't claim much credit for this 'good' behaviour though as I think my brain has been so full that it couldn't even think about toiletries! (That's when I know things are bad :rotfl:) The flip side is that stress is definitely a buying trigger, so maybe I am doing ok? (I need to be cautious as I might snap and buy something tomorrow )

I'm reading along with the thread and you're all keeping me company, which is lovely :D The sad news is that my Grandmother died on Sunday morning but it is one of those cases where it's definitely 'for the best'. She was a remarkable woman and lived well (and independently) for most of her life. She had a happy 103rd (!) birthday earlier this year, so we know she was very lucky. We had managed to get her into a peaceful nursing home for the final three weeks, so that was good as well. (I'm still not impressed with the hospital for effectively kicking her out when she was still very ill with an infection though...)

As for the problem with my assessment, I've been booted back to square one :wall::wall::wall: I'm fighting on, though...

So many good UUs going on! ***APPLAUDS***

Sorry to hear about your Granndmother Willowbee. Sending you hugs. x

12 days straight no purchases, Friday 13th 1 IN:o. I have had an outbreak of excema on my fingers and a couple of small patches on my face:eek::eek:. I had nothing ultra soothing in my armoury so I have been out and got a pot of Boots Origins cleansing balm. In cash terms it is a no spend as I used 899 of my advantage points and no money changed hands. So cleansing with this for the next few days and using rosehip oil to moisturise. If the sun shows itself I shall have to use a shady hat, as I would like to stay away from spf too if I can. As a bit of a salve to my conscience I have checked and I should be able to squeak through the month without buying the toner and the handwash that I had allowed for.

My post got eaten or something, so I'll try again.

I don't think I'm going to use up anything this month. Everything in use is full size. Even that blush that I hit the pan in looks like it will go on for a few more months.

Anybody have an idea of of how much a 500 gram parcel is to mail to Canada from the UK. An ebayer is telling me 23pounds. Does that sound right? I know some of you sell on ebay, so any help is great.

Airmail small packets should be £8 but is only for items worth less than £46. There's no tracking on this but royal mail only tracks to the country not the individual address so it's not worth paying for tracking IMO. £23 seems very expensive !

Still a well done maddiemay. Did you manage to get your L'occitane liquid soap for your hands?

I need to go back into town today to return some clothes to Primark and am planning on bobbing into Boots to get Emma a pot of Natural Collection pressed powder that she uses plus the Babyliss styling wand she wants for her birthday and have no intention of looking for anything for myself. I will be getting another pair of cropped trousers from Primark though. I hardly ever buy anything from there as I am a petite size 16 and nothing ever seems to fit however I was really impressed with the pair of crops that I got last week so want another pair. Am going to look on the M&S sale as well for a swimming costume.

Repainted my finger nails last night and am wearing Leighton Denny Steel Appeal with OPI Pirouette my Whistle on top. Have never really liked Steel Appeal but it looks good with a sparkly top coat.

Nails sound , Steel Appeal and PMW are on my to be seen IRl/possibly acquired list. PMNF with OPI A Rose by Dawn broke by noon, , looks pretty on (not really a pink girl) but shows the vertical ridges quite badly. Did Nailtiques for 7 days and was gasping for some colour, will take it off tomorrow and back to Nailtiques for another week.

I hope your shopping trip works out. No, did not get L'Occitane hand wash, will wait until month over and either grap a "bundle" on-line or just buy singely in town, now I know there is a stockist here.

Have a good, hopefully dry weekend everyone. Got home about 7pm yesterday and OH and I sat in car on drive for 10 minutes while a cloud burst and thunder storm took place:eek::eek::eek::eek:
