One UU to report - Boots Natural Collection Vanilla scrub. WNBA as the smell is just too artificially sweet for me, and I usually love vanilla. It's also not that effective, prefer less runny scrubs like the sanctuary's salt scrub. Got a few things spluttering so hoping to have some more UU to report soon.

Been using my products more since I started the challenge, including painting my nails more. I usually only put a coat of clear on my fingernails (toenails get the colour) but spent last week in Chanel's Quartz and am in their Peche Nacre today and it does put a smile on my face to see my fingernails looking prettier. Last week's lasted longer than I was expecting too - usually go for clear because it irritates me how quick they chip, but seems they are harder wearing than I give them credit for.

Today I resisted buying a magazine to get the free NEOM handcream on the cover. It sounded lovely but I have so many tubes of handcream, reckon I might need some more late in 2014... although have many body butters that could double as handcreams, so maybe not that soon.

I also managed to avoid buying a new face serum in Aesop yesterday but got given some free sample sachets instead. Not sure I'd buy at £60+ for a tiny bottle of serum anyway...

I return triumphant from my bath with a UU, Elemis Exotic Cream Moisturising Mask (15ml). I quite enjoyed this in as far as it was really aromatic and made me chill out - I'm not sure if it did much for my skin. WMBA (would maybe buy again) depending on cost?
  • ^^ I love feeling "triumphant" after a bath too!

I have another UU as well:

vitry base coat - wba, I need to find another base coat asap now!

One of the downsides to Orly Bonder was that some people got nail staining from darker colours, so had to use a normal base coat underneath, they may have changed the formula, have you had any problems with it?

    Hi all.
Hope everyone is well, hugs to all.
    2 UU:
No. 7 eye make up remover 30ml. WIBA? Nothing wrong with it, but i prefer the Garnier one now.
TBS morroccan rose body butter 50ml. WIBA? No, not this scent, I found this one quite greasy.

Now for the INs: in my defense.....why am I always thinking of excuses??? Lol.
I went to visit my mum yesterday and she had picked up a TBS coconut and a satusma gift bag, together for £7 from an outlet. Clearly she was quite pleased with this bargain to take for her holidays. However, she insisted I take one of the minis, i chose the satusma body butter, then proceeded to slip the coconut bb and scrub in my bag when I was leaving. And an Avon nail polish in pastel pink she didn't like. Ohh well, non bought ins I guess :D

I'm currently in the check in queue to fly to the isle of Lewis with work :D

Have some UU and TA to report:

UU - Champneys Dream Bath - this is the last of these minis - wnba I don't think although I do love Champneys.
UU - Ren Glycolactic face mask - 5ml sample size that came with my recent order, I used the whole tube, skin does feel nice and soft and looks quite bright and clear this morning so wmba.

TA - Avon Little White Dress roll on perfume - doesn't seem to smell of much.
TA - Avon Little White Dress body spray - had leaked all over.
TA - Avon Aromadisiac Roll on perfume - smells like cookie dough to me.

Also a non bought in - the second of my Tesco body butters to test.

I haven't had any problems with it. Yet saying that, the darkest colour I've used it with was a dark red. Will try it with some grey tonight and see what happens.

  • My favourite base coat is by Julep but I don't think I can get that here.

I started to go through my drawers and gather up my holiday toiletries.
I need a NPI last night with some koh nail polishes. I just love them but damn they are expensive, and I'm already saving up to buy the strangebeautiful inept laundress library for my birthday (Jan). So *pat on back* to me LOL although I will probably cave in today. HELP!!!!
