jet9cat I'm sorry to hear that you were scammed. I got that phone call once a couple of years ago. It was very, very convincing. The only reason I questioned it was because I was in the bath when they called and they suggested to me that I had my computer on at the time ("your computer is on at the moment, yes?") I don't tend to use the laptop when I am in the bathroom at all and I turn it off when I am not using it. Unfortunately for them it was my birthday and I was having a lovely relaxing bath so it really pee'd me off when I clicked it might be a scam. I was really rude to the woman and even more rude to the "manager" she put me on to (just for the record, I cannot stand rudeness. I make sure that I am not rude to people. This was the exception to that rule). I told them to write to me at my home address if there was a problem. That was approximately two years ago and I have never heard anything since. You could try the section 75 refund since they charged you over £100. Let us know how you get on.

My PAD today £150 please Andy. I sold a gold ring I have had for years. That is going towards a new tv when Mr G has to take his one away.

Oooh, think I might jump in! £9.86 to Capital One today... Need to start getting on top of these debts so hopefully this thread will help me :)

I'm late up...where is Danko  and I have hayfever....

Anyhow I just realised I have like £20 a week to live on for food till debt is clear (just over 3 weeks).

But on the good side I got accepted for a paypal refund over some goods I didn't get :j (needles for e-cig) So that will go on like overdraft when I get it cleared (upto 5 days apparently )

Hi everyone, no PAD from me today but just wanted to thank everyone for their kind comments and support regarding being scammed. I'm off work on Thursday (next Test match) so will tackle this then, I've found a template letter on the site and will ring cc and see where I get to, gotta give it a go as won't be worse off than now and may get something back.
