    Hi Jetcat !

Sorry to hear that, I'm sure the nice people of the thread can help out! Most of us will have been scammed or ripped off at some point, don't feel silly. Friendly thread as you know. :D

Not sure on section 76 - I would give it a go. I think you should ring and ask. Its over the £100 threshold, and I dont think it matters whether the goods were "ordered" overseas or not?

Also, credit card companies usually refund fraud don't they? I know you said you had authorised it but to me its still a scam and unauthorised taking of cash for no service / product. I would ask to speak to the dedicated fraud team rather than their first line people.

Just one other thing - ask them if its worth changing card numbers? I did after I got stung by a Paypal fraud - £500 worth :eek: - so there were no more issues. Don't worry though ! Maybe better to be safe than sorry if they have your authorisation details etc?

Apologies if you're thinking "of course I did that!"

Yeah I got stung by fraud the other week. Only £20 on my v* debit card but still. I had never authorised it though and never used x or y services whilst I'd been with this bank...so I was fine. Still horrid though :(

    Anyhow

    Today =
    £5
to EOD (natwest) to pay back my whoopsies over the weekend :j. It would be more but some numpty forgot to include water in her spreadsheet so next week's budget is a piddly £25 housekeeping including vet bills tomorrow :(. Praise God I'm with PDSA :D
