Aqua credit cards - avoid!!

That said, are you sure that you really want to pay £18 plus at least 40% APR for the privilege?
Alot of people with aqua cards cant get credit anywhere else, so they have a captive audience (not implying anything on your part btw).
It's mainly due to the risk associated with the customer demographic (being sub-prime) and also as a deterrent, as ATM withdrawals are likely to be the second to last port in the storm for people with financial difficulties (Payday loans being the last port obviously).
I'd stay away from Aqua, Marbles, Granite, etc if possible, and also never withdraw cash on a credit card as a rule. Aqua aside, ALL credit cards have exorbitant charges linked to ATM cash advances.0 -

I'm not sure about aqua but most credit cards have a cash limit to prevent people from doing the above i'm not enitirely sure if aqua have one or not though. as other people have said its not a good idea unless it was done to cover yourself for a short period and payed back ASAP.0

What message are you getting?
What do you mean it's not accepted?0 -
As has been said, it is no effort whatsoever to use Aqua instead of another card. The only effort is keeping within the low credit limit.
I know that this is a bit late to the convo, but for those that have/are thinking of getting the card, I haven't found it any effort keeping within the limit as the card is declined when you don't have enough left to cover it! So as long as you have another with you it's no problem.
Also I don't mind the low limit (£250/month) as it means I'm not spending on the CC without getting cashback
Could someone remind me how/when you get the cashback as the MSE page has disappeared?November GC: £50.55/£130. October GC: £72.60/£150
September GC: £131.27/£170. July GC: £62.48/£80. May GC: £135.00/£150
April GC: £201.91/£140. March GC: £194.98/£200. January GC: £111.41/£200.
December GC: £67.45/£80. Nov GC: £159.32/£220. October GC: £208.07/£250.0 -
Some people reported having been able to go over the limit occasionally, so you are playing with fire.
The cashback is credited to the CC account at the end of the year.0 -
Any ATM with Mastercard logo has to accept it. Have you ever changed the PIN and/or used it for purchases?

Call Aqua and ask them. There can be a daily limit for cash withdrawals.0

it also says the transation can't be authorized when I try to get a balance on my card though. sorry this is the 1st credit card i've ever had0

I've never tried, but I don't think that ATMs can show CC balances.0
