If you don't work for them then why your avatar is Talktalkemployee ?BSC number 1830 -
I'm at the end of my tether with talk talk.
Just the worst internet I have ever had. Not very impressed that sitting 3 meters away from my wifi box, I have a stronger wifi signal from 3 of my neighbors than my own. One of the is the house across the street!!!
The broadband service constantly drops out too! Its rendered skype useless so my girlfriend has to phone my land line using her internet in Thailand!!! And I'm paying for this service!!! Its just a joke!0 -

Oh the Ironing. Yeah, you're called TalkTalkEmployee just for the fun of it, and it also happens to your first post.
I wouldn't touch talktalk with a barge pole, after they lied to me not once, not twice, but three times on the same door sale. First they told me they had upgraded the towns exchange to fibre to the cabinet (first I had heard of it, also I thought was bt upgrading the cabiet's), then they told I could get upto 8mb on line (funny thing I was getting about 13mb on my line, they also thought plusnet my current provider only did upto 8mb), and the final nail in the coffin was them telling me that talktalk where taking over plusnet (wrong again).0 -
On this I would disagree. Its not their problem YOUR bankers had issues.
I know other companies were taking a zero tolerence policy during the RBS issue.
I found Talk Talk were the only ones out of the companies that I rang to be less sympathetic of what was going on, so not ALL companies had a zero tolerance policy regarding the issues with RBS0 -

Thanks,I thought I would ring companies that were due payment out of courtesy and Talk Talk were the only ones that were less sympathetic of the situation!

I havent had to phone their call centres often (if at all) as Ive had no issues on billing or related problems. The main downside has been with their routers, which seem fairly cheap-mine doesnt seem to work well with the main phone, which is wireless and the only phone in the house. I probably need to buy a replacement, as it cuts out occasionally when online. If you have a TT router that cuts out and goes offline for no reason then thats likely proof that their routers are just cheaply built. Buying a new router eventually to replace it, of a known brand, should fix this issue.
Everyone I have talked to with experience believes they get FAR more scam calls with talk talk than any other company, but some of them last had a different phone company around 5 years ago or more! Things have changed so much since then. Nowadays, EVERYONE is after your money, whether its 'genuine' online bingo on the tv, or constant silent sales calls, or scam calls-I know people on bt that get scam calls to the home now too (calls often with a foreign accent claiming to be microsoft, wanting you to go on your computer to fix a problem is a very popular one-hang up immediately)! There is no fix other than changing your number and going on the telephone preference service (TPS), although going on the TPS without changing your number may reduce the number of calls you receive:

Even Talk Talk are after your money by increasing the monthly costs without even telling the customers.0
