  • Morning all. Had a bit of a busy/slow weekend if that makes sense (it came in fits and starts) and it was lovely not to have to do the housework as i had managed to do it during the week. Did feel very guilty as i didnt go home to see my mum for mothers day :o , she had the grandmothers round, but i had spent 3 days at home during the week to try and make up for it.

Got to try and get the house sorted this week as i'm off for 2 weeks from the weekend with the Army. My housemate will still be in the house but want to leave everything as i want to come back to, especially my room. :D

    Hi All

DS not very well but I think he'll be quite happy just sitting in front of the telly for a bit! He wet the bed last night, came into us with a temperature so I gave him a drink and some medicine and he's spent the rest of the night in our bed. Just realised he's now wet our bed as well.

So I've already washed his bedding and PJs but now need to do ours as well.

Hope everyone had a good Mother's day and has a good day today.

My main task today is to get the house looking presentable so I can take photos for selling it! So much to do, but getting kitchen looking spiffy is the first priority.

    Best of luck everyone!

Two loads of washing done, hung round the house because it was sleeting when it finished washing and it doesn't look like it can be trusted out there now. Sunny but big clouds building.

Kitchen done, no downstairs toilet but I've done the bathroom and toilet upstairs. I still haven't been through my baking cupboard. Not feeling up that that yet:D

Being tired does make me rather dim sometimes. I was just cleaning out the boys craft cupboard, it is (deliberately) hard to get to and get in so I am rumaging round in the dark when I touch something furry. Nearly jumped out of my skin and then it started purring. Mathew cat has found a new sleeping space - black cat in black box = hysterics.

Now having a well earnt break and a cup of tea.

Punky - PP is busy in the garden I think - have a look over in greenfingered money saving.

Part of the Furniture 1,000 Posts Photogenic I've been Money Tipped!
Wow what a morning already! Met my friend at school only for her to tell me she got taken into hospital at the weekend and kept in overnight as they thought the baby was on his/her way  It's her daughters birthday tomorrow so I've said "Don't go mad and do too much. Call me if you need a hand with ANYTHING". Last thing we need is another double birthday in the family (my friends OH is my distant cousin who shares a birthday with my DD  ) besides it wouldn't be fair on the little girl to have to share her birthday with her little brother/sister :rotfl:

Soooo I decided to set too and I've been to the doctors to pick up my pescription and got hail/snow/rained on all in the space of about 3 minutes  Popped into the supermarket by the docs and picked up some sandwich fillers as OH & DD were both complaining that there was only apricot jam, honey & marmite for their sandwiches  The fact that I don't get paid until Friday/next Monday doesn't seem to have entered their head  Oh well, it's done now. Remembered half-way-around the shop that I forgot to bid on something yesterday that I wanted off ebay  SO while I had a drink I jumped on here only to find the item was sold  Sooo... I've just ordered something else that I wanted on a BuyItNow so that DD and her friend can have the same pressie for their birthdays ;) Also added some more of the original item to my watched list in the hopes that I can manage to bid/win one of them. I hate bidding too early though as I often get out bid!

Also, because of the weather I've decided to scrap doing loads of washing. It's too windy (I nearly got blown over and I'm not exactly petite!) to put it out and the maiden & hangers are already full. I might put on a load later when everything else is dry but I'll see.

So currently my list now looks like :
    • Dailies
      • [strike]Beds[/strike]
      • [strike]Bathroom S&S[/strike]
      • Dishes
      • WM
        • [strike]Darks[/strike]
        • Towels
        • Lights
      • Evening meal - Pasta with parmesan, which I can add extra too for DDs packed lunch for tomorrow.
      • Uniform
      • Packed Lunch
      • Mail
      • [strike]Hotspot - DD's clothes, almost done.[/strike]
    • Ebay - listing of 5 items (hopefully) for 3 days.
    • Hoover through house
    • [strike]Pick up Prescription [/strike]
    • Kitchen
      • Worktops / doors / drawers / windowsil / appliances
      • Hob / fridge / microwave / oven insides
      • Sink / draining board / drainer
      • WM drawer
      • Floor
      • Window
      • Bin
Right, off to tackle the washing up and the kitchen. Laters

Just cleaned cat snot off the window again (why do they always have to sneeze over the windows overnight?):D so I thought I'd do the television screen while I had the stuff out. Gosh! Should look like a whole new picture next time I put it on. I have dusted it but not used the glass cleaner for a while.

    Embarassing really.
