DH ended up taking DS to the emergency docs last night as he had a temp of 41 which wouldn't come down. Turns out he has a chest infection so he's now on antibiotics and he can't go out for 24 hours.
However, because I apparently woke my DH up coughing he has hoovered the living room before going to work so that's one less job to do.
DS is just sitting on my knee at the moment so depending on how he is later is whether I manage to get anything done today!
Hope everyone's well

Hi Juliejim - just coincentrate on giving your little one lots of hugs and attention. I know when mine are poorly they have to come first, otherwise they play up and nothing gets done. Maybe when he has a nap you can get the essentials done. You have been flying long enough now so a few days off should make no real difference and the list will be there next week!
Make sure you look after yourself too, us mums tend to forget about us. I know when I am ill its jobs as usual until you get to the point you cannot stand anymore!
Well I am behind this morning, must get kids breakfast and dressed as have to leave at 8.30ish to get DD1 to playschool!0 -
Poor little one! Enjoy the cuddle-time - if yours are anything like mine it is the only chance I ever get to snuggle with them now - otherwise my day is spent breaking up fights, ignoring whining and generally trying to keep the house from looking as though it has two preschool boys playing rough and tumble all day! And feeding them all of course!!Is it home time yet?0

Morning. Not had a chance to catch up. Trying to get all my dailies that are possible done before school. I might be going around to friends house to help out with her daughters party but I don't know yet. She said she would text me before she went to bed to let me know what was happening but she didn't so she's either forgotten, fallen asleep on the sofa again or she's gone into labour :rotfl: I guess I'll find out this morning when we get to school
Either way I'll be out the house from 4.30 this evening until at least 7pm at the party, well us mums will be in the kitchen, the girls will be in the livingroom having make-overs :rotfl::rotfl:
Anyways I'm almost done with my dailies. Only the kitchen left un-done and I didn't get around to doing it yesterday either as I had one of those days where I turned around and it was 2pm and I NEEDED a bath before parents evening. Even then I fell asleep in the bath and woke up at 3pm...I managed to get washed, dried, dressed and out the door in 7 minutes, pretty impressive even for me :rotfl: Right, off to check bank accounts, and take DD to school. Later :wave:Creeping back in for accountability after falling off the wagon in 2016.Need to get back to old style in modern ways, watching the pennies and getting stuff done!0 -
