Does Debt Make You Feel Trapped?

I just can't see any bloody light at the end of this sodding tunnel!

I know there is no quick fix but it's bugging the hell out of me!

Completely sympathise. We don't have much debt but there are days where it just seems endless!!!
Don't forget there's always a light at the end of the tunnel, but you just have to find the fastest supercar to get you there.. :D

I'm with you on this one. I think the tunnel is so long I can't see the light. Every time I think I'm making progress I get an unexpected expense which knocks me back again.

Im with you on this one too SS, Ive just been looking at houses to buy and feel totally depressed by the fact that I can't ever see us getting back on the market. I guess I should concentrate on the present rather than dreaming about the sodding future. Although saying that whats the point in all of this if I can't dream about the future....just seems a long way down that tunnel!!!!!
    Hang in there SS

The problem is the tunnel is so bloody long! know the feeling, my debt will take forever, not that huge but still can only afford so much a month without stopping ALL treats, got to have a few or I would go mad! take a break treat to yourself to one small thing (that wont set u back too much financially) and will make you feel a lot better. Keep smiling:-)

My tunnel is so bloody long, I will be retired when I reach the end of it.

    What a scary thought.
Is it better to aim for the stars and hit a tree or aim for a tree and land in its branches

Must be the time of year. Although I am making progress it sometimes feels painfully slow. Keep going mate.

    Best wishes

No, sorry I honestly don't feel that way!
I know I will be in debt for a very long time but my life is so happy otherwise, I don't let it get me down. And I guess because my life has improved in so many ways as well, I'm better off even though I'm in debt...(does that make sense?)

  • ditto to all the above - debt is my enemy/MSE is my friend - I'll shake off the enemy (eventually) and hold hands with my friends!! Ignorance makes us weak but united we gain knowledge/support and strength! While our tunnel is long the lamps from our friends glow brighty and when we reach daylight may we celebrate together!!
