  • Well, there's now over £1,000 just in the PayPal account with another £358 going in to the bank account on Monday from credit card payments made on Thursday - so that's nearly as much as I took all last week going to be banked on Monday!

I had some lovely proofreading today, all of it with near-perfect accuracy and very few formatting problems. Nice when that happens, it means I can whiz through it and three files were for the same end client as well, which also makes life easier. So instead of being glued to my headphones well into the evening, I'm about to go and order some more stock :D

    Great stuff :j:j:j
A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort

Fingers crossed, yes - certainly my target of being under £12k by the end of the year, which seemed ambitious when I set it back in June, looks like it's going to be met :D

The alarm goes off at 6 or 6.30, depending on whether Mr Minx is having a shower before work or not. He leaves for work at 7.15, I'm usually out of the house with the dog and shovelling manure by 7.30. We try to go to bed around 9, I'm sometimes a bit later, though now I'm not proofreading on the evening shift (apart from Sundays) I've got better at going up at the same time as he does, though he sparks straight out and I often read for an hour before I switch the light out.

I have the house to myself today for the first time in a week :) Not that it isn't lovely to have family staying, but I'm not used to having people around during the day time!

Take Note has paid me :D:D so it's time to shuffle money around accounts and pay a big chunk off the Nationwide card, though I'm going to reduce it by the £90 for the boiler, as the tax refund hasn't come through yet.
