Horses come before humans in this householdthough Merlin would have disagreed with that this evening - I was nearly two hours late with their supper because I was stuck with a mammoth proofreading job and he took to cantering up and down the field outside the office window in protest :rotfl: He perked up considerably when I moved the electric fence and gave them a big patch of new grass though.

The weather has completely been kind enough, work hasn't howeverI did get the salad seedlings planted out after I'd fed the horses, so that's one more item crossed off the list.
I've done a massive amount of proofreading today and sent out 40 orders. Now back in the annexe because a regular customer has put in a £525 order and I'd like to get ahead of tomorrow's packing up just in case I get a similar amount of proofreading through. Still knackered, but thinking of the money0 -
When I am doing a job that is taking too long or is boring I continually chant to myself "It pays the bills"....I know where you're coming from "thinking of the money"!Debt - CCV £3792

I was hoping to be able to proudly show a screenshot of the business overdraft starting with a 1 this morning, but I didn't quite make it  I needed to bank £893.56 this morning, I knew I had £247.14 coming in from credit card payments and with the big customer order last night I thought I might be in with a chance, but even if the £30 direct debit for SagePay hadn't come out this morning, I'd have still missed it by £21.42.
Oh well, tomorrow, hopefully, although I've got an £1800 supplier payment to make tomorrow and possibly another £1600 on top of that because I've just emailed the charm bracelet supplier to put my order in there (finally got the money saved up, or at least all bar £100 of it, so I can get the ball rolling).
Right, the rest of these orders aren't going to pack themselves, so best get on with it0 -
Happy Packing.

LAM - hope she's okay. Be careful with your queries, they'll often exclude even if you don't put a claim in, just because they're now aware the condition exists. We have the equine dentist coming in November, that's £100 I need to put by - unless I get round to re-registering soon, the boys will have had their teeth done twice since mine were last looked at :rotfl:
Yeah I am in a bit of a quandary - because if you are going to claim apparently you need to let insurance know first however if its just the xrays I can afford that but if tooth needs coming out apparently it can cost up to £800  in which case I will def use my insurance as it could cost an overnight stay. The molars are big ones to get out and of course it will depend on what has caused the fracture in the first place.
I haven't seen a dentist in 8 years lol!0 -
Really pleased for you that business is doing well. Happy packing.0
