They did ask the Germans, but they said only if we get to decide who wins 'In nature, there are neither rewards nor punishments - there are Consequences.'0

The Spanish will just pass the coin amongst themselves until everyone else dies of boredom.
You can;t deny their success.
On Sunday their likely to be the first team ever to win three tournaments in a row.
You say it's boredom, but if you appreciate the art and skills they deploy then you can;t find it boring.
The challange is to bring the game to Spain and not sit and defend.
I believe and hope Italy continue to bing the game to their oponents which is a change in tactic for them going by historical evidence.:wall:
What we've got here is....... failure to communicate.
Some men you just can't reach.

The current Italian side don't play catenaccio, it's just a stereotype. You'd never play Pirlo in a catenaccio midfield as he'd never have the space to play.
I hope the Italians win. I think they're playing a great version of the game within the current rules*.
*I also have a small bet on the Italians.0 -

I'm in Hong Kong so I didnt see the game, but if Italy put two past Germany maybe we arent so bad after all.0

If the Spanish want to win, they need to drop Xavi and put Iniesta into central midfield in his place, play Fabregas instead of Silva and use Pedro or Navas out wide, and finally choose either Torres or Lloriente up front.

It was meant as a joke....if only England could control possession in that way.0 -
